There is nearly unlimited parking space and 200' foot of river waterfront with a break-wall and dock space for your boats or other watercraft. There's a large family room with a flatscreen TV, as well as a basement recreation area with a large comfortable seating area and its own flatscreen TV. Outside the basement lies a patio for BBQ's, a pit for nighttime campfires and a large backyard perfect for lawn games and sunbathing. Looking over the backyard and riverfront is a large deck that runs the full length of the house with stairs on each end for easy access to manicured lawn. The entire house, backyard and associated docking space is available for the length of your space. This area is a summertime wonderland for many who come to stay and enjoy boating and other outdoor activities on the Inland Waterway. The Cheboygan River and historic train bridge lie within view of the back deck and access to biking (summer) and snowmobile (winter) trails are right next door. This area of northern Michigan is a popular destination for mushroom hunters, snowmobilers, skiers, hunters, cyclists, and outdoor enthusiasts of all types. With plenty of historic and tourist attractions within driving distance, including Mackinaw City which is only about a 15 minute drive, this Up North get-away is the perfect place to stay during your time in northern Michigan. There are no public transportation services available; however, a local taxi company is available for a fee. Kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, paddle boats, small outboard fishing boats, pontoon boats and bicycles are available from local rental companies upon request.
