Little River is a log cabin along a mountain stream in the southernmost region of the Catskills, 2 hours from NYC and 2.5 from Philly. It's an escape designed for spending time with friends and family, for working and relaxing, for early mornings and late nights — all that good stuff. Follow @littleriverupstate for more. *WINTER GUESTS: it is necessary to drive an AWD/4WD vehicle to access the house in wintery conditions. Our waterfront property and newly renovated home have all the makings of a cozy Catskills stay. We’ve spent years collecting the vintage furniture pieces of our dreams and hope you’ll find them as spectacular as we do. We’re excited to share a fully equipped kitchen, a wood-burning fireplace, a streaming-ready TV room, a healthy collection of books and board games, a creekside fire pit, waterfront long-table outdoor dining, and lightning-fast internet speeds. We made environmentally friendly renovations at every turn, from geothermal heat and AC to recycled cabinetry, salvaged hardware, and vintage furniture and lighting. We also reused lumber, paint and finishes from our past set design jobs. *Outdoor Amenities* waterfront location along Halfway Brook outdoor shower (sorry, not available in the winter) fire pit propane grill long-table dining bocce set waterfront hammock & seating *Indoor Amenities* vintage Danish, Mexican and American mid-century furniture Casper mattresses wood-burning fireplace geothermal central heat & AC washing machine & dryer abundant natural light *Bathroom Amenities* deep soaking waterworks tub & epsom salts organic Everyone Soap products *Kitchen Amenities* induction range All-Clad cookware french press & pour over coffee & teas dishwasher extra large fridge and freezer (downstairs in the basement) (reach out if you have specific questions on what's available!) *Tech Stuff* self-check-in keypad highspeed internet streaming-ready TV (sorry, no cable) indoor & outdoor speakers nest protect & security —————— The cabin is perfect for 1 to 4 people, but it can squeeze up to 6 — just keep in mind that there's only one bathroom! There is an additional cleaning fee for the 5th and 6th guests. We have a strict 6 guest maximum. If you'd like to have additional daytime visitors, we require that you run your plans by us beore booking. Unfortunately, the cabin is not suited for children (under 13) or pets at this time. During COVID-19, we’re doing everything we can to help our guests stay safe by cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces as well as waiting at least 24 hours between bookings. You'll have full access to the entire space and our 2-acre property. We just ask that you respect the private half of the basement. All film and commercial photography/video inquiries must be approved separately. Contact us for pricing and availability. We'll be available via the Airbnb app, phone, text, and email if you need anything at all. Just 2 hours from NYC and 2.5 from Philly, this creekside log cabin sits on 2 acres along a backcountry highway, and it's backed up to many more acres of forest. The abundance of wildlife is amazing. Bears, fireflies, eagles, trout, mushrooms, and much more. We’re also just 5 minutes from the local grocery store, the Saturday farmer’s market, and the Delaware waterfront for canoeing and rafting trips. We’re 20 minutes from incredible hikes, swimming holes, and a few of our favorite restaurants. Our driveway has a bit of an incline, and in wintery conditions, you'll need 4WD to access the cabin, even after it gets plowed. Unfortunately, it may not be possible to get a non-4WD vehicle out of the driveway without a tow. Additionally, the winding mountain roads are much safer with 4WD.
