Take a slice of Phoenixville and enjoy an entire house situated in the heart of excitement. Conveniently located downtown in a quiet peaceful neighborhood. You will be steps away from countless unique shops, restaurants, markets, and parks. The property is on a non-busy, one-way road with plenty of free street parking. Large, fully fenced in, private back yard and cozy front porch. This three story house is fully equipped with modern amenities and will be your perfect getaway in Phoenixville. A turn-of-the-century, newly renovated (***August 2021), three story house with new HVAC. From the front entrance, walk into the living room which is furnished with a sectional couch and entertainment center (new 65” large screen tv/Fios high speed WiFi). The kitchen, also on the ground level, has all of the cooking essentials and a dining area. Next to the kitchen is a full laundry room equipped with a large washer and dryer. The backyard is large and completely fenced in for privacy. The patio in the back is spacious and great for outdoor gatherings. There is a full size propane bbq grill and fire pit on the patio. The road in front of the house is a residential one-way street that is not busy. Stairs leading to the bedroom areas from the ground level are of spiral design and very steep. The master bedroom is a good size with a walk-in closet and furnished with a queen bed. The loft area on the third floor is the second bedroom, also furnished with a queen bed. An additional queen-sized air bed is available on request. The main bathroom (bath/shower) is on the second floor next to the master bedroom. The half-bathroom is on the main floor next to the kitchen. Guests will have access to the entire house and yard during their stay. The only area that we ask guests not to go is the basement which is unfinished, mostly for storage, utility equipment, etc. My wife and I want to make your stay perfect. We are both very responsive and eager to help you with any questions or concerns that come up during your stay. Less than 10 minute walk to Bridge Street restaurants, stores, and theaters (scenic stroll over the bridge too!!). Other points of interest: -Colonial Theater (where “the Blob” was filmed). -Short walk/ride to paved Schuylkill River Trail - over 100 miles of bike/walking trail. -Farmer’s market on Saturdays -Over five local breweries, wine room, and a distillery within walking distance. -Seasonal festivals and street fairs (Firebird and Dogwood festivals are local favorites). -Multiple nearby parks and playgrounds with facilities to accommodate tennis, basketball, baseball, football, etc. -Local artist studios and stores. -Great coffee spots and a locally owned bookstore. -Locally owned clothing stores from upscale to vintage. -Day spas, yoga, and Pilates. -Fishing on French Creek -Water sports on Schuylkill River (Boating, Kayak, Canoe, Floating, etc.) For a more detailed listing of the surrounding area and our recommendations, check out the Guidebook on my profile. The house is situated so that most of your adventures will be within one half of a mile walking distance. For cyclists/runners/walkers... bring your bikes - bring your shoes! The Schuylkill River Trail (SRT) is a world class paved bike trail that has a trailhead blocks away. The trail goes through Valley Forge National Park and all the way into Philly (passes the Rocky steps). For public transportation, the SEPTA bus line runs by the house. The busses connect to the city train lines and airport. For those who drive in, there is free parking in front of the house. Notable areas that are a short drive away: -Valley Forge National Park (5 miles) -Collegeville- outlet center/retail (8 miles) -King of Prussia- huge luxury mall/retail (15 miles) -Philadelphia (30 miles) -Longwood Botanical Gardens and fountain (25 miles) -Chanticleer Botanical Gardens (13 miles) Be sure to check out the guidebook of the area on my profile page for a detailed listing of area highlights and recommendations. Also, gatherings at the house are not prohibited , however, we ask that details of the event be provided to us during the booking process. We can assist with the planning to ensure everything is perfect. There is ample free parking in front of the house. Please be mindful though of the neighbors who park there as well. If there are more than two vehicles that need to be parked during your stay we ask that at least one car be parked on the side street a half of a block up from the house. Parking arrangements will more than likely have to be discussed in detail before arrival if there are more than two vehicles. Additionally note that the stairs leading to the two bedrooms are of steep spiral design. This is a typical feature for a house built during the turn of the century. Guests who are traveling with older adults and young children could face some difficulty due to the steepness of the stairs.
