Weir’s Little Purple Cottage

We believe we are your year round destination to Northern Michigan. Located in the small village of Lake Ann, you are just a short walk to a local brewery, pizza place, ice cream, general store, and coffee house. Located right on the lake with large windows to view from. Our warm cozy house offers heated floors throughout and a gas fireplace and stone hearth. The beautiful colors of fall, transition to winter as the water freezes over and swirling snow delights us. Close to skiing-Come enjoy! Guests have access to entire house, we have another small building awaiting renovation that cannot be accessed at this time. We have a garage with a partial space for guests to retrieve oars, kayak paddles,etc. House is on Lake Ann, only 4 stairs on lake side, and back porch only 1 step up into house. We are right in the Village of Lake Ann, so very short walk for brewery, pizza, ice cream cones, coffee house. Also new bakery close by. This has been my family’s home for over 50 years - beautifully remodeled with knotty pine, tile floors, and wood look vinyl- Everything on property but one outbuilding on property which will be locked. And one furnace closet in house, also locked. We live across town so we are available by phone or text, but not close by. We have neighbors across the street that mow grass and take care of garbage for us. Also they will have a key for emergency but house has a keyless deadbolt lock which you will have code to.
