Only 10 minutes away from the Gore Mountain ski resort, 25 minutes from Lake George, the Firefly Cabin is the best all-season getaway in the Adirondacks! Everything the mountains have to offer, just a few minutes away from the cabin: hiking trails, cross-country and downhill skiing, multiple lakes, white water rafting, and much more. Charming and cozy Lincoln Log cabin situated on nine alpine acres. Quintessentially rustic but with all modern conveniences. Three bedrooms with brand new furniture and memory foam mattresses (2020). Two full bathrooms with all toiletries included. Great indoor and outdoor sitting areas, outdoor covered porch, and a warm fire pit for the evening fire and s'mores. Fully stocked kitchen with stove, microwave, air-fryer, and dishwasher. Full sized clothes washer and dryer. Located only 4 miles from the Gore Mountain Ski Resort! Quick drive to Lake George and Lake Placid. COVID-19 UPDATE: The entire cabin and all items within are thoroughly disinfected between guests as per Airbnb guidelines. Everything is provided and disinfected but we still encourage all our guests to bring their own bedsheets, towels and pillows. Guests can access the entire cabin and property except for the basement and the outdoor shed. You will have access to the entire cabin and complete privacy. The Town of Johnsburg-the largest town in New York's Warren County by area-is made up of several hamlets including North River, Johnsburg, North Creek, and Wevertown and some smaller communities. In the Town of Johnsburg, you can experience thrilling whitewater rafting on the Hudson River, hike through wildlife-filled woods, view the autumn palette from Gore Mountain's Northwoods Gondola, and bike ride along winding country roads. Plenty of parking on the property, stores are only a quick scenic drive away.
