Cozy Cottage on Chandos Lake

Modern and cozy cottage located on Chandos Lake, only 2.5 hours from Toronto. The cottage has a large deck, flat front lawn and dock for you to enjoy the summer sun. The open concept kitchen and living room, make the cottage a great place to spend time with friends and family. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare delicious meals. There are three bedrooms and we provide bed sheets, duvets and pillows. The renovated cottage is ideal for any season getaway. Great for families, a couples weekend away or a group of friends. The cottage is perfect for summer vacations with a large tiered deck space to enjoy the sunshine in the day and a dining table for dinners at night. There is a front yard by the lake, perfect area for the kids to play. The waterfront is great for swimming off the large floating dock and the shore is shallow, perfect for little swimmers. You'll have access to some fun floaties and two stand-up paddle boards with life jackets. The fire pit area is great for everyone to gather around roasting s'mores on those warm summer nights or crisp fall evenings. Winter is our favourite time at the cottage. There is usually lots of snow by the end of December and it truly becomes a winter wonderland. The area is perfect for snowmobiles, as there are many trails nearby. If you’re more of a homebody - we recommend cozying up by the wood stove with a cup of hot chocolate to watch some movies and the snow fall. The cottage has three bedrooms, two of which have queen beds and the other has a double bed. There is also a crib set up in one of the bedrooms. There is a pack and play available if required as well. We also have a high chair. The cottage will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before your arrival. Access to the cottage through a lockbox. We're available through the Airbnb app for any questions you may have throughout your stay. The town of Apsley is 10 minutes from the cottage. There is a convenience store, gas station, pharmacy, LCBO and Home Hardware. The town recently lost their only grocery store to a fire. The closest grocery stores are in Bancroft and Lakefield, both around 40 minutes from the cottage. We have an area to park 3 vehicles. The driveway and cottage road are plowed in the winter. For July and August we are only offering Monday-Friday rentals. Guests are required to bring their own towels.
