Newly remodeled relaxing get-a-away that sits just a block away from The Greenbrier River, with less than a minute walk to river access! Dean's Retreat comfortably welcomes 8 guests! The spacious kitchen is great for hosting meals with your family. The pellet stove is nice too! Enjoy skiing/snowboarding? We're only 30 minutes from Snowshoe Mountain Resort! We are located just a block away from The Greenbrier River, as well as, The 77 mile long Greenbrier River Trail. Hop on your bikes or jump in your kayak & you’ll be on your way! There is a spacious back yard for children to play or pets to roam. The yard is completely fenced in with privacy fence! There is also a back deck with a grille, where you and your family and friends can enjoy a relaxing evening. The large kitchen is fully equipped & great for hosting. Keurig single cup coffee pot! All linens/towels/toiletries/kitchen utensils & equipment will be provided. WIFI & TV (Netflix) are provided! My goal is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. With just a two block bike or walk from "Dean's Retreat" there is full access to the 77-mile Greenbrier River Trail that runs alongside The Greenbrier River. Dean's Retreat is also within walking distance to restaurants, like, The Greenbrier Grille, where you and your family or friends can grab a bite to eat right on the river. Also, there is a neat coffee & bicycle shop, The Dirt Bean, just right down the block from us. After-all, they are a part of the family. However, we do charge a $60 non-refundable pet fee, due to the excess amount of pet hair that comes with pets, we must spend more time deep cleaning the home than what we would with guests with no pets. This is a flat fee & includes up to 2 pets. Any additional pets after that will be an additional charge. We ask that you simply mention you are bringing your fur baby along & we will make the appropriate adjustments needed to book, if you have not already done so in the booking process. If you do have pets, dogs specifically, & are contemplating other AirBnB’s in the area you should know that Dean’s Retreat has a nice fenced in yard for those of you who want to allow your pets to roam off the leash worry free, as well as, an outbuilding with a doggy door where your pet can get in out of the weather. There are also food/water bowls, dog beds, crates & treats! We by no means discourage pets, we just ask that you be mindful of your pets behaviors & remember they are guests in the house the same as you are.
