Monticello Lake Home. A Convenient Get-A-Way.

Wonderful lake home on beautiful Lake Ida only 50 minutes from the Twin Cities. Very clean lake, great for boating and water activities. Use of kayaks, canoe, paddle boat are all included. Come for the whole week or just a couple days and enjoy this lovely lake home get-a-way a short drive from downtown Minneapolis. Enjoy beautiful sunrises on this clean, quite lake. Only one public access so not a lot of boat traffic. Home is only 20 feet from the water and comes with an outdoor grill and a great fire pit for evening bonfires. Also includes a dock and swimming raft. The upstairs in the main house has a queen sofa bed and two pull-out twin beds that come out from each wall. Gourmet kitchen with all KitchenAid stainless steel appliances, vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans and a gas fireplace. Master bath has double vanity, large walk-in shower and jacuzzi bath. Beautiful and modern. Owners live in the Twin Cities and are available to attend to guests if needed usually within an hour or two. My brother and his wife's home is right next door also. The small town of Monticello, MN is just 7 miles away, where you can find most anything you'll need including grocery, liquor stores, restaurants, bars and movie theatre. Monticello is on the Mississippi and close to the Northstar commuter train stop that goes into the city. If you want to catch a Twins baseball game the train will take you right to the stadium. Mariah State Park is just 2 miles from the home.
