Our cozy garden-level basement apartment is located just 2 miles outside of D.C. and a 6-min walk to a Green Line Metro station! This is the perfect place to stay to visit the nation's capital or a University. With the Hyattsville Arts District just down the street, there is also plenty to do nearby. This apartment has it's own entrance separate from the main house with a private bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom and deck access. Shared washer and dryer. Comfortably sleeps up to 3 guests. Bedroom: Memory foam mattress and comfortable bedding, two side lamps for night time reading, two closets, full-length mirror, and desk. Full-Service Kitchen: Fridge, microwave, dishwasher, stove/oven, and plenty of dishes, utensils, pots and pans for your use. Bathroom: Bathtub/shower, towels, and essential amenities available. Living Room: Couch that easily converts to a single-sized bed making the apartment suitable for up to 3 guests. 42" smart TV and HDMI Cable so you can plug in your computer (or other devices) to view on screen. Bose speaker with auxiliary cord. Shared laundry room equipped with washer, dryer, and laundry soap. Access to the deck with picnic table seating, upon request. This is a shared space with the owners of the main house, so just let us know if you would like to reserve it so that you can enjoy the deck without interruption. It's a lovely space to enjoy a meal outdoors! It's a covered deck so guests can enjoy the outdoors in rain or shine. Prince George's Plaza Metro Station (Green Line) is a short 5-10 minute walk from the house (0.3 mi). The Green Line is the ONLY metro line NOT affected by SafeTrack delays and updates! :) Hyattsville Arts District (1.2 mi): Various sit down restaurant and fast casual options available such as Franklin's (great local restaurant), Busboys and Poets, Chipotle, Jimmy John's, Elevation Burger, Tara Thai, Yogi Castle, and Spice 6. Groceries: Giant Food (0.5 mi), Safeway (0.4 mi), Aldi (0.9 mi), YES!
