Enjoy your stay in a comfortable private home located in scenic Coon Rapids, Minnesota with beautiful recreational lakes and parks, enjoy the local walking/hiking paths and bike trails, or use the backyard and have a BBQ and fire on those cooler nights. Your private bedroom awaits. Have your breakfast each morning relaxing in a very tranquil and peaceful home or backyard as native Blue Jays, Cardinals, and Squirrels, Finches, and Crows keep you company. My house has 4 bedrooms, 2 guestrooms and shared bathroom dedicated for guests are listed on Airbnb. I am self employed and occupy the basement with my cat. All common areas are shared with guests. The Kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, gas stove, microwave & dishwasher. Guests are also welcome to use the gas grill in the patio if they would like. A continental breakfast with coffee or tea is provided to help yourself at your convenience. Guests are welcome to prepare their own lunch/dinner in the shared kitchen so please do cleanup after yourself. Please make yourself at home and do let me know if there is anything else I can assist with. I will do my best to make your stay at Hidden Jewel a memorable one. Guests have their own private bedroom and are welcome to use all common/shared areas of the upstairs, which includes bathroom, living room, dinning area, full equipped kitchen with all appliances, gas grill in the patio, large backyard with fire pit and gym. Guests are welcome to do their laundry from 7pm to 10pm which is in the basement. Host lives downstairs so the basement living spaces are off limit. Do not hesitate to ask for anything you should need to make your stay a one of a kind memory for you. I do enjoy people and getting to know my guests and yet respect guests privacy. I am always reachable via my cell phone or text. My home is located in a quiet neighborhood in Coon Rapids, yet in walking distance to restaurants and easy access to main roads and freeways. This is a safe community where most have lived for a long time. There are parks, walking trails, biking paths and much more. Please do ask for any activity that you may be interested in and I will be happy to give you all the information. - Major Lakes approx 15-20 minutes - National Sports Center/Schwan Super Rink (Blaine) approx 5 minutes. - Downtown Minneapolis & St. Paul approx 20-25 minutes depending on traffic - Guthrie Theater and Walker Art Center approx. 20-25 minutes - Multiple Breweries (ask for more details). Anoka is rich with many craft breweries. - 10K Brewing only 10 minutes away. - Umbria Pizza and Pasta Delivery. Hard to beat, really. - We are located very close to the Bunker Hills Regional Park and Golf Club, which is beautiful winter or summer and worth visiting. - Multiple plays, concerts and other stage-related activities year round within a short driving distance. - Sand Creek Athletic Complex has an ice rink and a skate park that is quite large with many different quarter pipes and rails to ride. - Northtown shopping mall and Riverdale Shopping Village are equal distance of about 5 Minutes away. - A plethora of hiking trails and lakes to experience the world. - Easy access to major highways & freeways: Hwy 10, I-35, 35W, CR-47, CR-242 - Downtown Minneapolis & St. Paul approx 20-25 minutes - Bus stop at the corner - Taxis,Uber and Lyft are readily available in the area I have 2 Listings, Hidden Jewel of Coon Rapids (1 & 2), for each guest bedroom. Guests are welcome to reserve both rooms or just one guestroom at a time.
