The Boat House

The Boat House is a newly remodeled studio space. It’s a unique place to stay, located on a private dead end road right on the water with beautiful views it’s 5 minutes from I 81. Perfect for Virginia Tech home sporting events. It’s also perfect for Virginia Tech and Radford University Graduations, weekend or weekly family getaway. You will have access to the dock on the property for fishing and swimming, there is available space at the dock if you have your own watercraft. The entrance of the boat house is handicap accessible but the shower is standard. You can enjoy fishing and grilling off the deck facing the water. With a propane grill and table for four. In addition to a king size bed you have a queen size sofa bed. Appliances include a 2 burner glass top stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven. You have WiFi access and a 32 inch Roku Tv with cable. Kitchen is stocked with dishes and glassware, utensils with pots and pans also. There are 4 chairs for dock and outside use and there is a fire pit outside also for you to enjoy. There is plenty of parking for your vehicle and trailer if you bring your own watercraft There will be someone available by phone 24/7 You can enjoy kayaking, boating, tubing, paddle boarding. It’s very close to the New River Trail for biking, running, or hiking and just minutes away from the shops at the Draper Mercantile. Call ahead for information about kayak and paddle board rentals.
