Stay with easy access! The apartment is in excellent order creating a comfortable home-from-home for long-term and short-term guests. There is a main bedroom with a double bed, The apartment has a capacity for up to 4 guests as there is a single sofa-bed and we also provide a twin size air mattress, with bedding and pillows too. The apartment is furnished to a high standard with new modern attractive items. There is also a modern, fully equipped kitchen (no dishwasher) with a wide range of kitchen utensils including plates, glasses and cutlery. Laundry facilities are coin operated -- one on each floor! Access is through the apartment building main door, which is locked in the evenings. Has a key pad electronic access. The code will be sent to you prior to your arrival. The FREE WiFi is sufficient for basic surfing, social media and collecting emails, but not for bandwidth hogging continuous streaming services such as Netflix when occupancy levels are high. However, should you need lots of bandwidth let's say for working at home. We are able to put you in touch with the local service provider who offer a month-by-month service at a very reasonable price. We have Cable TV piped to the apartments there are 44 channels with a variety of things from sports to kids shows to drama. The majority of our furnished apartments have "Smart TV’s”. You will be able to send and receive mail during your stay as there are mailboxes allocated for each apartment. Plus there is ample car parking space for all guests in our large car lot. Getting around the neighbourhood, we recommend the use of a car especially if you are going to travel around the State. Most amenities are within a short walking distance of the apartment building. There is plenty of parking space for each guest in our large, private parking lot. Our managers live in Lamberton and will be onsite most morning, they are also available 24 hours a day should you have matters which need resolving A beautiful view of the fields with our rooms on the backside and side of the building. There is a vibrant business district, churches, service organisations, emergency services and friendly people. Recreation activities include a swimming pool, Central Park with picnic shelters and playground equipment and Kuhar Park which is located on the scenic Cottonwood River. Red Rock Central High School is located in Lamberton. Lamberton is situated along Highway 14, just to the west of New Ulm. The Red Rock Central School District serves the cities of Lamberton, Sanborn, Storden and Jeffers. Campus is located just a few blocks north of the property. The Valley View Apartments are on the south side of Lamberton. This is an ideal location, being that it is right across 9th Avenue from our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, the community pool , and the local school. Being on the souther edge of town provides residents with beautiful views of the prairie. However the size of the town allows for walkability to any of the local retailers, entertainment options and amenities. Major employers include the Meadowlands Farmers Co-Op, Red Rock Central Schools, Valley View Manor Nursing Facility and French Ag Research Inc. The DM&E Railroad runs through Lamberton daily. Lamberton is also home to the University of Minnesota’s Southwest Research Outreach Center. Founded in 1959, the center is now an 840 acre research facility. The primary faculty and the Advisory Committee collaborate with technicians, scientists and the community on multiple research endeavors. On- going research at the center includes soils, crops, entomology, pathology, horticulture, water quality and forestry. The Southwest Research Outreach Center is one of six research stations in the State and is the foremost center for agriculture research in southwest Minnesota. In addition to the businesses that drive the daily cogs of the community (banks, hardware, American Legion, etc), Lamberton has several clinics (including one in the Mayo Health System), a dental office and a nursing home. A conference center and hotel provide comfortable amenities to businesses and visitors. A car is required for ease of access to the core downtown, but it's a small town. Many walk, its not far!
