The Solebury House, in the heart of Bucks County & the Delaware River Valley, has been part of Solebury Village since the 1790’s. It is in the heart of Bucks and near New Hope, Doylestown & the Delaware river. Incredible adventures to be had; biking, hiking, dining, and chillaxing. It is an hour from Philadelphia and less than 2 hours from NYC. The apartment is newly renovated with hi speed WiFi, it's clean, bright, comfy & private. Following all CDC protocols for cleaning and sanitizing. The apartment, located above the historic post office, is a 6 room apartment filled with antiques. The first floor has a full dining room, kitchen, living room, foyer, and a half bath. Timber framed beams and deep set windows are architectural features. The second floor master bedroom is huge with a high ceilings and a full bath. Plenty of closet space throughout. Parking in rear of the house. The outside gardens features a large patio and separate fire pit area for relaxing and planning your next's day adventure. Private apartment with master bedroom en suite, living room, dining room, full kitchen, and 1.5,bathrooms are exclusive to quests. Outdoor patio and garden is available. Private entrance and parking lot for up to 2 cars. Laundry facilities in the main part of the house. Contactless check in and out is available. However, Liz and Dan are on-premise hosts and are ready to assist in making your stay enjoyable, memorable, and safe. As with older spaces, there are quirks to be aware of and we are are available to discuss. Solebury is in the middle of Bucks County and located a few miles from the Delaware River. Its a short drive to New Hope/Lambertville, Doylestown, Peddlers Village, and the route along the river brings you to many historic sites and river towns. If you like visiting nature, there are great orchards, organic farms, nature paths and trails. Bucks is a bikers paradise. Good roads with rolling hills and the tow path along the Delaware canal is great for all levels of riders. Art galleries, antiques, shopping, wineries, and entertainment abound. We have been experiencing the region's best and have many recommendations and suggestions. As your host, we are more than happy to share what we have learned and help with plans. You will need a car to get here and around the region. Pack a picnic basket and embark on a tour. Tailgate at a polo match or sip wine outside along the river. If you bring your bike, the roads are great with mainly rolling hills and a few challenging climbs. Suggested routes of varying distances and difficulty are available.
