This is a children and dog-friendly home, and we have our Lab X dog Zouk that spends most of her days outside and will greet and guide you around the property. **Please advise us if you aren't comfortable with dogs, so we can arrange to have her indoors when you are out. 10 minutes to the historic village of Williamstown, fair grounds and museums 15 minutes to downtown Cornwall, to enjoy all it's wonderful local offerings 15 minutes to riverside restaurants, to enjoy the St Lawrence 10 minutes Grey's Creek Conservation Area 15 minutes Cooper Marsh Conservation Area 5 minutes to Summerstown Forest Trail (walking, cycling, maintained cross-country trails) 25 minutes to Alexandria, a lively heritage village 1:10 hours to Montreal 1:10 hours to Ottawa You must have your own vehicle, or you may use the Peanut Line Trail to travel by 4-wheeler, bicycle or skidoo (during the winter). Please note that the suite is still partially connected to our home, which is a century old and perhaps not as sound-proof as newer builds. We always do our best to keep the noise minimal, but consider you are staying in our family home :) Also note that mobile reception with Bell/Virgin/Telus is poor here. High-speed WIFI is currently not available in our area, and hence we cannot “guarantee” it worry-free for distance work/school purposes, as owner also works full time at home, but it has been reliable.
