Million Dollar View Mtn-side - Chateau Cristeau

Our wonderful house is truly a Mountain Majesty! It sits on the side of a mountain with a million dollar view! It is close to "Mayberry!", aka Mount Airy for which the show was named for. You’ll love our place because of the privacy, the comfy beds, the coziness, the porches, the high ceilings, the hot tub, the décor, the wildlife, the location and most importantly the VIEW!! The home has an open floor plan with gas fireplace and large front windows and open side windows to take in the view at any angle. Folks in the lower homes call this house at night, "the chapel" due to it's high position on the mountain and steep pitched roof. The master bedroom is on the 2nd floor with a King Size metal framed bed with private master bath. An awesome soaking tub that overlooks the mountains. The master bedroom also has a private balcony overlooking the mountains and valley. Just off the master is the loft area with a twin sized daybed to accommodate one. The main level bedroom has a Queen bed with it's own private bathroom with shower. This bedroom also has sliding door with walkout to the side porch. An additional bed has been added for overflow and is located in the unfinished basement. It is a nice rec area with concrete floors but is heated and has a thermostat. Just off the basement side deck is a hot tub. On the main level there is 10 foot decking off the front and covered side decks with tables for having coffee, meals or simply for wildlife watching or simply taking in the breezes.
