Screened in porch (shared) plus private deck. 200 feet from lake, and long, sandy beach. Free use of kayaks, canoes, SUP, on-site hiking trails. On-site massage, reflexology. Kitchen has newer refrigerator, newer electric stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, blender, electric mixer, crock pot, 6 pots, 4 skillets, 3 pans, 3 casserole dishes, 6 mixing bowls, cutting boards, colanders, muffin tins, cake tins, baking sheets, measuring cups & spoons, utensils (corkscrew, 3 tongs, 4 spatulas, whisk, scissors, masher, scoop, etc.) wine glasses, coffee mugs and enough plates, bowls, glasses, flatware. Salt/Pepper, cutting boards, non-toxic dish soap and scrubbie (bring kitchen towels!) Charcoal BBQ grill off deck. Located about a mile from scenic Heartland Bike Trail, a couple miles from ATV trails leading into Paul Bunyan State Forest and about 35 minutes from Itasca State Park. Big John and I live on-site, all vehicles pass by our house on way to cabin. We are available via text/cell, e-mail or knocking on our door. :) Otherwise we typically let peeps enjoy the cabin and lake on their own. Lots of information provided on website on area attractions, on-site amenities, etc. Crow Wing Crest Lodge in Akeley, MN We are located 1 mile from scenic Heartland Bike Trail, 2 miles from ATV trails leading into Paul Bunyan State Forest and about 35 minutes from Itasca State Park - headwaters of Mighty Mississippi River. Parking for several vehicles & trailers directly next to cabin. Located 10 miles from Walker, MN (small airport), 40 minutes to Bemidji (regional airport w/ commuter/partner airlines to major airlines.) We are big believers in natural cleaners and an organic environment beyond the natural spring-fed lake and fresh northwoods air. We use only natural cleaning products to clean cabins: anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal aromatherapy essential oils like peppermint or Thieves multi-purpose, distilled vinegar, baking soda, grapefruit seed extract, borax, Shaklee and Melalueca products and other non-toxic ingredients.
