The Cottage at Stonecroft

Nestled at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains among beautiful rolling hills, on a working horse farm outside the village of Bluemont. This circa 1902 Cottage will put you in touch with the history of the area, antique shops, wineries/breweries and nearby hiking. 2 bedrooms and bath upstairs; sitting/living room , dining table and full kitchen on main level. Wifi, fire pit and small charcoal grill. Over 21 only. Absolutely no pets/animals. For your safety property has video security system. Cozy early 1900s Cottage decorated with antiques and barn wood furniture. Please note, low ceilings on the main level in the living areas (if over 6’ 2” will have to duck in some areas). Amenities provided include farm fresh free range eggs from our chickens, coffee/tea, bread, bottled water and some snacks. Kitchen is fully furnished with essentials for cooking including basic spices, cooking oil and condiments. Washer and Dryer available on request for stays of 4 or more nights. Some firewood provided for fire pit. Working Horse Farm - inquire if you desire pasture, stall space (limited) or trailer parking for your equine friend, at additional cost. Guests can enjoy the open grounds around the cottage and a short walk through the woods down to the creek. Parking is on the gravel area beside the cottage. Please park in front of the log, toward the left end; do not park or drive on the grass. Owner resides on property in main house and is generally available if needed. Close to Bluemont Vineyard, Dirt Farm Brewery and many other vineyards and breweries. Appalachian Trail, Bears Den, Sky Meadows State Park, Shenandoah River and tubing all a short drive away. Bluemont General store provides all basic necessities. Purcellville or Berryville provide all needed services and restaurants.
