This is a 50 acre setting with a frustrating hobby farm that most often benefits the abundant wildlife rather than the owner’s. Feel free to roam the mowed 12 acre lawn with trees and ponds. Beautiful view all day long overlooking the valley. The full apartment is remotely attached to the “barn” which houses the equipment used to maintain the property. Currently there are 3 free range chickens who love human interaction. This full apartment is air conditioned for warm days and has in-floor heating to take the chill off cooler nights. A relaxing porch has 2 rockers overlooking a beautiful valley carved out by ancient glaciers. The large entry foyer leads into the full kitchen with a gas range and oven as well as full refrigerator and micro wave. The bathroom is large size with an oversized shower. The bedroom has a king size new-generation type foam mattress with his and hers closets as well as a cabinet with drawers. Guests have use of the large 12 acre lawn for walks down to the pond or to just look at. There are 28 acres of woods behind the dwelling for day hiking if so desired. Private parking. If traveling with a camper, there is 50 amp service available if needed. Self checkin is always available for your convenience. Hosts live in main building designed as a geodesic dome. Host may be on sight or traveling with their grandkids depending on the time of year. Interaction will be initiated by guests if so desired. This location enjoys a remote feel while shopping and world class tourists attractions are within a 20 mile radius to include a NASCAR track, over 250 wineries as well as aviation museums and an active sailplane base for 30 minute rides overlooking the area. The city of Corning is minutes away with its historic 5 blocks of Market Street shopping and dining. The world famous Corning Museum Of Glass (CMOG....SEA-mog as the locals call it) is a great way to spend some time with exhibits and tourist (you) glass blowing sessions. Truly a place to use as a base camp or just relax and take in the views. Getting around is normally not a problem. Places of interest are usually well marked. If there are plans for a celebratory evening, Uber and Lyft can be utilized. This is a beautiful setting overlooking a lush green valley. Hosts have enjoyed the setting for 30 years and wish to share some of the good fortune with others
