Ely's Historic State Theater Loft

This charming art deco apartment was completely restored to its original glory in 2019. Nestled atop the beautifully renovated State Theater in downtown Ely, it's within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping - not to mention Ely's Pebble Spa and Zup's Grocery are directly across the street. In the evening, the hue of the marquee glows into the windows like an ember of the campfire, setting the mood and creating a relaxing atmosphere for dinner and drinks. Ely's Historic State Theater was built in 1936 in the Streamline Moderne style, which is a subset of art deco. This style was popular in the mid-1930s. The stair stepped cased openings and built-in bookcase, base trim, door knobs, and windows are all stunning examples of the Streamline Moderne era. We tried to highlight the history of the building with various artifacts, history books, and antiques throughout the apartment.
