Escape to this 1800's cottage on a large wooded lot, over an acre with a year-round stream, lovely neighbors and quiet neighborhood A private well provides pure delicious water! Options from the city on public transportation: 1.) Metro North from Grand Central to Tarrytown Uber or Bus over the bridge. (or Path/NJT to Nanuet) 2.) Bus from Port Authority to Bardonia This home is nearly 200 years old and it has lots of charm and is decorated with vintage and antique furniture! If you love the idea of escaping city life for a quiet reprieve in a quiet piece of nature then look no farther. It's now also been upgraded to an eco-home with geothermal heating and cooling and a Tesla Wall Charger in the driving. The yard is full of fruit trees and a raised bed vegetable garden. About the house: Everything about the house is small and cozy! The kitchen has a small bistro/breakfast table - no large dining table. Other than that the kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and there’s a full-sized fridge/freezer as well as dishwasher. The house also has a washer and dryer. We offer contactless check-ins. Our wonderful housekeeping staff will have the house cleaned and sterilized for your stay and will either leave the house unlocked for you with the keys inside or the keys will be under the mat at the door. Close to a cool and trendy area in Nyack, but locally quiet with streets for walking and a school nearby with a track. There are lots of Uber options available at all times and you can easily get into Nyack Village, Piermont, New City or the Tarrytown Metro North train station. There are many walking, hiking trails as well as great bike-riding trails in the area!
