Lake View Cabin is an authentic ADK cabin on the shores of pristine Tupper Lake. It shares the dock, grounds, and non-motor boats with the owner-occupied lake front cabin, and is a wonderful spot for swimming, paddling, fishing, and sunset-watching. A perfect location to unplug (wifi available on the property, but is spotty in the cabin). Located a short drive (5-10 minutes) from the Town of Tupper Lake, golfing at the Tupper Lake Country Club, The Wild Center, Bog River Falls, and ADK hikes. Unique Lake View Cabin on the shores of Big Tupper Lake offers original interior wainscoting, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room. The circa 1920s former hunting lodge has retained many original features, with modern amenities and upgrades for comfort. Breathtaking sunsets from the water's edge. The camp can sleep up to 10 to enjoy all that the major ADK lake has to offer, including incredible sunsets and deep-water swimming and fishing in one of the least crowded lakes in the ADKs. Waterfront, dock, non-motorized boats, parking and grounds are shared with your friendly but deferential hosts, Leanne and Dave. Hosts in Lake Front Cabin are available if needed. Tupper Lake, located in the heart of the Adirondacks, offers a beautiful wilderness setting in which to swim, fish, boat, (Website hidden by Airbnb) to simply breathe and unwind. The nearby (5 minute drive) Town of Tupper Lake offers quaint restaurants and stores as well as a lake front recreational park (tennis, volleyball, walking paths, skate park) and a movie theater. Also a great location for a day (or half-day) trip to Lake Placid and surrounding ADK lakes and peaks. A car is the best for exploring the ADKs, and our driveway has plenty of parking as does the Town of Tupper. We are a short ride into Town. Biking is great on state route 30, but the cars and trucks are very fast so caution is recommended. Property is located very close to the lake, with uneven terrain, so it is best-suited for those who can swim as well as navigate uneven terrain. Wifi is stronger outside than in the cabin, ideal for unplugging but not for anyone looking to stream movies or be on Zoom calls.
