Enjoy a true escape where you will wake up to country views and experience hospitality that is second to none! All the RV and tent sites are on the Farmstead's immediate grounds. They are grassy and have their private fire pit. The property is beautiful, and there are lovely places to pitch your tent or park your RV. And we're a pet-friendly site, so you are more than welcome to bring yours to stay with you. ⭐Quiet time is from 10 PM until 7 AM. Would you please use soft voices during this time? ⭐Check-in is until 9 PM unless approved by us. ⭐We are pet-friendly. Pets must be on a leash while on the property. Offleash area is available. ⭐Wifi is available throughout the whole property. ⭐$6 for a milk crate of wood-so you don't have to pack some. Start your day with countryside views, breathing in the fresh air while watching the sunrise over Mt. Baker. Take in the beauty that is this vast land. End your day with mesmerizing sunsets while relaxing in front of your private firepit 🔥 Crates of wood are available to purchase. Explore the gardens, take a walk through the berries and say hello to our cows, chickens, goat, and pig. Stop awhile and take in the panoramic views! There's no shortage of fun outdoor activities here on the farm and beyond. Activities for every day of your visit. Oostema Farmstead is surrounded by sheer natural beauty and has many things to do and places to visit. Here are just a few: ◾Easy drives to surrounding towns of Lynden and Bellingham with their specialty shops, restaurants, and cafes. ◾Scenic drives to surrounding areas of interest like Chuckanut Drive and Mt. Baker. ◾ plenty of activities like fishing, golf, cycling, beachcombing, and trail walking are all within easy reach. ◾Local farmers' markets are in the nearby towns of Bellingham and Lynden. ◾Other places of interest and activities include Whatcom Falls, local beer and wineries, and Lummi Island. ◾We are also the gateway to the San Juan Islands and, of course, our friends to the North, Vancouver, and Whistler, BC. ◾Or just spend a day chilling on the Farm! Cook up farm-fresh meals by purchasing ahead via our store website – enjoy home-grown eggs, sausage, bacon, Wagyu beef, and other delicious meats. We do have workers that access the Raspberry Fields from the driveway on our property and, unfortunately, we cannot predict when they will be working in the fields – our work on the farm is controlled by nature 😊 The Main Farmhouse also offers a charming apartment. (We reside on the upper level of the Main Farmhouse). This offers 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths with a large living room, kitchenette, and private patio. Or if you are into Tiny Living, our Tiny Farmhouse is also available.– and they are listed on Airbnb, a great option if you have a group vacation. While the campground is located within a shared space on the Farmstead. You will see us working in the garden and around the Farmstead, and we also have guests from the other accommodations, including several RVs and tent campers during peak season. We provide just 9 sites in total so there's plenty of space for everyone. 🧰 🔨 The guests must supervise any children at their party at all times. The property is a working farm with electric fences, machinery, sharp tools, livestock, and other items not present at a typical lodging facility. Renter is responsible for ensuring his or her own safety, and the safety of any children in the rental party, and assumes all risks associated with staying on the farm.
