This Cottage is perfectly designed as a fully functional one bedroom getaway that spares no luxuries. With the comfortable front deck looking out over the Hudson River and mountains guests will enjoy breath taking sunsets and peaceful nature filled relaxation. A full bathroom with a romantic clawfoot tub helps create the opportunity for true relaxation. The cottage is perfect for a peaceful getaway weather it be romantic or individual. A full kitchen allows guests to prepare their own meals during their stay. Guests will have access to the entire cottage including private parking and yard area and deck. As your host, Maura, will be interactive and reachable by phone all throughout your stay. Your experience as a guest will be entirely individual with a self check in process, private parking and Yard space. The property owner lives in the house just below your cottage and you may see him from time to time as you pass by. Stuyvesant is a small town nestled along the Hudson River 15 minutes north of Hudson, NY. Stuyvesant is located within perfect proximity to many wonderful Hudson Valley towns That provide opportunities For guests to shop, enjoy excellent food, visit wineries, breweries, distilleries and farms or hike and swim. It’s the perfect place to explore the surrounding hudson valley and all it has to offer. From Hudson, NY (15 minutes South) to Kinderhook, (10 Minutes East) to Chatham (20 Minutes East) the opportunities, entertainment and relaxation are endless. Located in the Mid Hudson Valley we are a 2.5 hour drive North Of Manhattan. A short car ride from the Cottage will give you access to many nearby hikes, towns, dining and attractions. Hudson, NY is 20 minute drive to the South and provides access to numerous restaurants, shopping and cafes. Along the way there a hikes, local farmers markets and beautiful views to soak in. Kinderhook, (10 Minutes East) and Chatham (20 Minutes East) provide more food, shopping and beautiful farm experiences. In all directions the entertainment and relaxation are endless. By foot guests can explore Stuyvesant’s riverfront park, including the old Stuyvesant train station and a row of beautiful historic Riverfront homes. Guests can even head north by car for 30 minutes and reach Albany, NY (Our state Capitol) or Troy NY another charming and bustling river town. David, the property owner, lives just below the cottage in a small house. You will drive in and out past the house but he is your only visible neighbor from the Cottage.
