Experience Nashville like a local in my historic Queen Anne cottage, part of our ComeVisitNashville family of homes! My 100+ year old home has been lovingly restored and still maintains the character of its original Victorian era. It has been divided into two parts, with a business office operating on one side and a completely separate, spacious 1-bedroom home on the other. — FLOOR PLAN — 1st Floor: Keypad entry, kitchen, dining room, living room (with queen-size sofa bed) 2nd Floor: Bedroom (with king bed), full bathroom, laundry room Backyard: Patio furniture — BED & BATH — The large upstairs bedroom has an amazingly comfortable king size bed, walk-in closet, and Smart TV. The sofa in the first floor living room pulls out into a queen bed with a memory foam mattress. Both sleeping areas include room darkening shades and a white noise machine to drown out ambient sound. We even offer 2 pillow options: soft and firm. The bathroom is located on the second floor and has an antique clawfoot bathtub (with a shower in it) and two sinks. We've got you covered with linens, towels, individual toiletries, 2 hair dryers, and an iron/ironing board. — WORK & PLAY — The spacious living room has plenty of comfortable seating (including a cozy West Elm couch) and a 55" Smart TV with local channels and streaming access (you can sign into Netflix/Hulu with your own accounts). There's even an Amazon Echo for a bluetooth speaker. The dining room is ideal for sharing a meal or playing a board game together. If you're in town for work, or just need to catch up on emails, rest assured we've got high-speed WiFi and multiple dedicated work space areas for you to utilize. — GREAT OUTDOORS — The massive backyard is the perfect spot to play some outdoor games (yes, we provide some!) and te patio seating is ideal for you to "wine" down in the evening or enjoy your morning cup of coffee! — DINING IN — The fully-stocked kitchen has everything you'd need to cook, serve, and enjoy meals together. There's a refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, cookware, bakeware, dishes, serving trays/bowls, utensils, drinking glasses, wine glasses, olive oil, salt & pepper, and more. The dining room and outdoor furniture make eating-in more enjoyable. We also provide starter supplies of coffee, sugar, and creamer — and offer a tea kettle and tea for the non-coffee-drinkers of the world. — FAMILY TIES — If you're traveling with young ones, we have a pack-n-play, high chair, baby gate, and children's toys/books available. (And the washer & dryer will certainly come in handy!) — PARKING — There's free street parking if you'll have a car. — PETS — We welcome potty-trained, well-behaved dogs, up to 2 dogs per stay, for a fee of $25 per night per dog. (More details in the House Rules.) — LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION — The real beauty of this spacious 1-bedroom house is that it's in the center of East Nashville's Five Points neighborhood. Short of pitching a tent in one of them, you're as close as possible to countless bars, restaurants, shops, and live music venues. Literally STEPS away. Walk everywhere you'd want to go in East Nashville and hop in an Uber or Lyft for a short ride downtown (2 miles / $6-8). — HOUSE RULES — * Guests are required to sign an electronic rental agreement within 48 hours to finalize their reservation. This is a simple process that can be completed from your smartphone, computer, or tablet. The rental agreement must be signed within 48 hours (or immediately upon receipt if your arrival is within 5 days) or your reservation is subject to cancellation in accordance with the agreed-upon cancellation policy. * Be a kind and considerate human, and treat the place as if it were your favorite aunt and uncle's. Remember that the home belongs to real people. At the conclusion of your stay, follow check-out procedures (they're easy peasy) and return the home in the same condition in which you found it. * Drugs, illegal activity, and parties are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in immediate termination of the reservation without refund. * Smoking is only permitted in the backyard and cigarette butts must be disposed of properly. No smoking of any kind in the home, in the side walkway area, or on the back patio furniture—including e-cigarettes and vape pens. (No ifs, ands, or butts about it.) * Remember you're staying in a residential neighborhood and there's a business on the other side of the house. We care about our neighbors and our community, so please be courteous and respectful with your volume levels. While we absolutely want you to have a great time while you're here, please keep the partying on Broadway or in Five Points and not at our home. Noise violations and/or complaints will result in termination of the reservation without refund. * We welcome potty-trained, well-behaved dogs, up to 2 dogs per stay, for a fee of $25 per night per dog (to be paid immediately after booking). Please let us know ahead of time if you plan to bring pets and the fee will be added to your reservation. Your fur babies must be housebroken, non-aggressive, and not display repeated, unprovoked barking. (Indoor piddle pads are not allowed.) They must be on a leash at all times outside the home. Please walk your dog on the grass outside the home for bathroom needs and clean up all waste immediately, disposing in the outdoor trash receptacle. Pets are not allowed on the furniture unless you keep furniture covered at all times with sheets/coverings you bring with you. We are unable to accommodate cats, birds, reptiles, rodents, or any other creatures: humans and dogs only. If you have a unique circumstance, please discuss with us first. * Local laws require that the primary guest booking the reservation be at least 21 years of age and stay for the entirety of the reservation. Only those guests specifically accounted for in the reservation are permitted on the property. No additional guests are allowed for any length of time. Attempts made to bring undisclosed guests/visitors onto the property will result in immediate termination of the reservation without refund. By making a reservation, it is also acknowledged and understood that we have actively recording exterior security cameras in the front/side/back of home. There are—of course—no cameras or recording devices inside the home. The house is equipped with an Alexa-enabled bluetooth speaker in the living room. * Local residents seeking to book with us are subject to prior approval and are required to contact us before making a booking. If you live in the Middle Tennessee area, please do not book until you have discussed your plans with us and received approval. Instant bookings by local residents are considered a breach of house rules and are subject to cancellation. * Communicate any breakages and/or damage. We understand accidents happen, so just let us know if one does. Usually we can address these quickly if we're informed in a timely manner—which means you're more likely to have your full security deposit returned. * While appliances and other household equipment are believed to be in good working condition, some deficiencies only present themselves while they're continuously used by guests. We reserve the right to take up to 24 hours to tend to non-emergency issues. Remember that this is an independently-owned home and we are therefore at the mercy of subcontractors' availability for service and repairs. If we are unable to get an appliance or other equipment up to habitable standards (as determined by us), we will do all we can to relocate guests to an adequate property, or, if we are unable to do so, refund the remaining cost of the stay so they can seek alternate accommodations. In the rare instance this occurs, note that we cannot be held financially responsible for new accommodations. * We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that may occur while on the premises, or for the loss of personal belongings or valuables. By making a reservation, it is agreed that all guests expressly assume the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises. Guests also assume all liability and expenses to repair damages/loss when making a reservation to stay with us. While families and children are always welcome, make note that the home is not child-proofed. * Absolutely no confetti or glitter. (Can't believe we needed to add that, but we did.) * Failure to adhere to the house rules may result in additional charges and/or termination of the reservation without refund. * While you might roll your eyes at some of these, trust us that these rules were borne out of experience. (So, yes, we're rolling our eyes along with you.) The homesharing community is built on a mutually-agreed-upon code of honor, and your trust and respect are counted on. -- COVID-19 UPDATE We have implemented every precaution available to create an environment that is as safe and healthy as humanly possible. Even as the world begins "normalizing" again, we request that all our guests exercise vigilance and take seriously the responsibility we each carry in a global-concern situation such as this. We highly recommend guests purchase a Cancel for Any Reason travel insurance policy at the time of booking. As always, it is the traveler's responsibility to read and understand all policy details to ensure you are eligible and would be adequately covered. Additionally, it's recommended that you check with your credit card company to see if they offer trip coverage. While we always aim to be as flexible as possible, with these options available to protect you as the guest in case your travel plans are impacted, we will be adhering to the cancellation policy you agree to at the time of booking.
