The Condo: (Yes you are renting the entire condo!) This newly decorated privately owned 600 square foot Mountain front 1-bedroom condo is located on the 3rd floor at The Appalachian @ The Mountain Creek Ski Resort in Vernon, New Jersey. As you enter the condo you will notice the warm inviting décor as well as the mountain views just outside the windows! The galley kitchen and dining area are just to the left as you enter and is fully-equipped, and boasts all the necessary appliances one would expect, including a stove-top (no oven), dishwasher, microwave oven and a full size refrigerator. It comes complete with a Keurig coffee maker, a toaster, toaster oven and all the kitchen supplies needed to make a great family meal. The dining table seats 4 comfortably. On the right you will notice the huge, beautiful bathroom with a separate tub and shower area and plenty of room to get dressed. Notice the beautiful tile floors that remind us of the 357 mineral species found nearby with a total of 28 that are completely unique to the area. Pretty cool! The living room area is next and has a beautiful gas fireplace for those cold nights (shut down each April and back up each October), a wall mounted 42inch HD LCD TV, seating for 3-4 with mountain front and pool views and a sofa bed with a recently updated memory foam mattress that sleeps 2 comfortably. The Creme De La Crème is the master bedroom where you will be greeted with warm earth tone colors in both the bedding and on the walls. You will find the comfy king bed fitted with a high end “Ikrema” memory foam mattress to ensure you a good night’s sleep. Our quilts are beautiful and colorful and are rotated as the season changes. In the fall we may have a quilt with fall leaves on it, winter a bear theme, and summer, floral. Watch your favorite shows on the 32inch SMART LCD TV and gaze out to the mountains and ski slopes while resting on the comfy bed. The bedroom has direct access to the bathroom. You get to enjoy all of the above as well as Wi-Fi, Cable TV, fresh linens, fresh towels, blankets, and basic toiletries. You get to use the COMMUNITY pool (when open), COMMUNITY hot tubs (when open), game room (coin operated), underground parking, and fitness room! This condo truly provides all the comforts of home and then some.... THE RESORT: The Mountain Creek Ski Resort is a 4-season resort that offers Alpine Skiing, Snow Boarding, Mountain Biking, Zip-Line, and a Water Park - all on site as well as a tree top experience down the road. THE LOCATION: Vernon Township is located in Sussex County New Jersey, USA. It is located about 1 hour from New York City and was established on April 8, 1793. Iron mining was prevalent during the mid-to-late 19th century. Mines such as Canister Mine, Williams Mine, and the Pochuck Mine created industry which spawned local businesses and brought rail travel to the town. Today Vernon and the immediate area is an outdoor lover’s paradise. Here you will find a landscape consisting of residential and resort communities, farmland, apple orchards, pumpkin patches, bird watching, barns, horse farms and stables, lakes, fishing, and just so much natural beauty. The famous Appalachian Trail (AT) even runs through it! You will be amazed on what you will find only 1 hour outside of New York City. THE AMENITIES: Underground parking with 1 parking pass. Additional cars can park across the street at the Mountain Creek lot when available. CLEANING POLICIES: Our cleaners are instructed to clean and sanitized between each guest. This includes all high touch areas like light switches and handles. We have also invested over $1,200 and purchased one Disinfectant Atomizing Sprayer and one Electrostatic Handheld Sprayer. We take our guests safety seriously. We offer a contactless check-in procedure featuring a digital lock and you will be provided with your own unique key code. MISC: We have contactless check in We are not a part of the hotel program so no need to go to the front desk The Appalachian has a Game room, reading room, and laundry room (coin operated) Due to new cleaning procedures, we cannot offer a late check-out.
