The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for basic meal preparation. Soak in the Bennett's original clawfoot bathtub (If you prefer a shower, that's fine, too). Enjoy an excellent sleep on the Bennett's top-quality Queen-sized bed. Before your arrival, the Bennett will be stocked with welcome teas and treats, freshly roasted coffee, and light breakfast foods to start your stay. You'll also find a range of cleaning supplies that you're welcome to use and complimentary toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, Q-Tips, etc.). To keep our rates low, we don't replenish these items during your stay. Yes, the Bennett has an iron and ironing board, as well as luggage racks. The apartment has high-speed WIFI. The Bennet's flat-screen TV has an antenna for local stations on the flat screen television, and Roku. Log into any streaming services to which you subscribe. The Bennett is on the first floor, and accessible by climbing half a flight of stairs. A laundromat is available in the building's upper lobby for guests. Dynamic pricing ensures competitive rates. State lodging taxes apply to stays of less than 30 nights and City lodging taxes also apply to stays of less than 32 nights. S.F. Read it on the "Vacation Rental Policies" tab of SF Shannon's website. The Bennett is on McPherson at Euclid, footsteps from fine restaurants and delightful shopping. The Gateway Arch is five miles directly east. The Bennett is within walking distance of Forest Park, home to the St. Louis Zoo, St. Louis Art Museum and many other beloved institutions. Washington University Medical Center & Barnes Hospital are within walking distance, as are all the amenities of a great urban center. Supermarkets, pharmacies and movie theaters are within walking distance, as is Metrolink, the city's regional rail system. Parking is free and on-street in front of the building, but please note: The Central West End neighborhood, especially along Euclid street, is home to a number of bars and restaurants. These establishments make our neighborhood great, but can also lead to some challenges. With so many establishments within walking distance, the neighborhood attracts many visitors, especially in the evenings and on weekends. This can make parking tricky. You may need to circle the block a few times, but most of our guests don't report too much trouble getting a spot. Additionally, you may hear noise from the bars and their patrons. Since all of SF Shannon's vacation rental apartments are in the historic core of St. Louis, we occasionally receive the question: “Is it safe?” This question is impossible to answer, because we typically know nothing about the person asking it. The co-owners live within walking distance of each SF Shannon vacation rental. Rachel, Karen and their spouses have raised their families in their respective neighborhoods, and have always felt perfectly safe. She owned the building in the 1960s, when the building was called The Cambridge Court.
