Modern Lake Home with Hot Tub and Fire Pit

With the recent uncertainty, this may be the perfect time to consider a staycation for you and your loved ones as my house is available. No need to travel great distances as my property gives you the enjoyment of the outdoors while providing the modern conveniences that most want today. Important Note: Before booking this beautiful lake home retreat, please ensure you have read our simple and straightforward house guidelines on this page and throughout the listing. There is direct access to the lake from the property however there isn't a dock yet. While swimming and fishing in the lake is not recommended, people have done it before if they're feeling adventurous or overly optimistic about fish. The water is shallow so the actively growing aquatic plants in the water usually reach the surface especially from May through August. Motorized boats are not allowed on the lake so please enjoy the peace and tranquility. There is a canoe and kayak available for your use to go exploring around the lake. If you come in the summer, you will find a beautiful section of lilypads with the most amazing flowers. This modern lake home has been totally remodeled to provide all the creature comforts of home while allowing you to take in all the sights and sounds that nature has to offer. You may even see one of the resident bald eagles! The 8 person hot tub and 500 square foot fire pit patio are available year round! The house provides a great opportunity to get away from the pressures of life for either a couple of days or for a week or more. The location is perfect as it's so close to the Minneapolis (20 min) and St. Paul (10 min) yet secluded enough that you would never know it. The house has 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is a natural gas grill on the deck which is always ready. There is seating for 12 on the deck. There is a wet bar with a door leading to the patio for hot tub parties. Check in time is 3 PM and check out time is 10 AM. For your reservation, the reservation fee includes 4 guests and each additional person, even if just stopping by and not staying overnight, is an additional charge which is calculated when you finalize your reservation. The current additional charge is $30 per guest per day. I encourage you to purchase travel insurance so that in the unlikely yet possible event that something happens and you need to cancel your trip after the refund deadline, you can receive some of your costs back for eligible cancellations. Due to previous groups that have failed to honor my quiet hours during their stay, I now have a No Hot Tub use rule from 10 PM on weekdays and 11 PM on weekends until 7 AM each night and there is no socializing outside after these hours. All outdoor activities need to end by these hours each night so that I can assure my neighbors that they will not be disturbed during your stay. If I find any evidence that smoking took place in the house, the fee is $500. Additionally, if you have extra guests that were not included in your reservation, you will be charged for that as well. Lastly, if I learn of these or other situations during your stay, your reservation is subject to immediate cancellation with no refund. As neighbors are close by and expect to enjoy their home in peace and quiet, if your group becomes so loud or disruptive that the neighbors feel that they need to call me or the police about it during or after your stay, there will be a damage claim of $250.00 to be deducted from your security deposit. Additionally, your group may be asked to leave at whatever time this occurs and there would be no refund of what you have paid to complete your stay. As you expect peace and quiet at your home when you are there, please extend the same courtesy to my neighbors so that I can continue to offer this great home to others such as yourselves. After you reserve the property, you will be provided the location of the house. Based on a few previous guests who have caused problems, I will need a list of names of anyone who will be on the property at any time during your stay, even if they are just stopping by. Each person is considered a guest for fee calculation purposes. Thanks for understanding. Parties and events may be allowed on a case by case basis. Please let me know what the event is and please be aware that there may be an event fee. There is a limit of 30 guests during the day (a guest is any person on the property even if not staying overnight and just stopping by for a short time) and a limit of 16 overnight guests. After the first four guests which are included in the reservation, the charge is $30/guest/day.
