Boasting an airy ambiance, ample natural light, and all of the comforts of home, no one will have trouble kicking back and slipping into relaxation. Each morning can be enjoyed with a cup of coffee on the furnished back deck or on the private dock near the flowing Dickinson Bayou mere feet away. When the temperature rises, sweet relief can be found at the shared pool with ample space to suntan in between dips in the water. Relax outside together under the pergola with some cool drinks. When everyone returns from a full day of fun, the well-equipped kitchen will be just the place to reminisce with loved ones as the chef of the group whips up something tasty for the whole gang. Not to mention the free WiFi and large flatscreen TV in the living room that will allow for everyone to rest and enjoy a favorite movie or TV show as the stars come out. Who's ready to relax? What's nearby: Dickinson Bayou is in a fantastic location, due to it being roughly midway between Houston and Galveston! Some must-see attractions include Moody Gardens, the Strand Historic District, and the Pleasure Pier with a location close to the Kemah Boardwalk and Downtown Aquarium. Houston offers attractions including NASA, the Houston Zoo, the Houston Museum of Natural Science, and the Museum of Arts. There is a public boat launch close by for the ability to enjoy boating, fishing, jet skiing, wakeboarding, and more. Don’t miss out on visiting the family restaurant, TJ Reeds/Flippers in Dickinson, the Mosquito Café in Galveston. Topwater Grill and Pier 6 Seafood in San Leon, TX on the bay is also a great stop. Parking notes: Once you enter the gate there is an ample amount of parking for guests. Please stay on the drive closer to the house to provide privacy to guests staying in Benson Cottage they will use their own gated entrance next to the home. There is a maximum of five vehicles for this property, at no time are you allowed to have over-occupancy on people or vehicles without prior discussion with your Local Operations Manager. There are surveillance cameras and the Operations team will be notified if the property is ever over-occupied, this is grounds for immediate eviction with no refund. If you do have prior approval for daytime occupancy increase all guests over the occupancy and vehicle limits must leave the premises no later than 7 pm. Dock details: There is a boat launch and it is complimentary no cost for the guest. Swimming and fishing is allowed. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
