Pelican Cottage: In the Heart of Tarpon Springs

Tucked neatly into the NE corner of our property, sun-drenched Pelican Cottage offers everything you'll need for a private, relaxing, quiet getaway within walking distance to the Sponge Docks, Spring Bayou & more in beautiful Tarpon Springs, Florida. The 528 sq. ft. cottage offers an open living room/dining room/kitchen with flat screened Smart television. The kitchen is equipped with a 2-burner induction cook-top, a microwave, toaster oven, fridge with ice-maker, and a Kuerig-pod coffee pot. Also included are dishes, pots and pans, flatware, etc. The one large bedroom includes a queen bed and a dresser. Off the bedroom, you will find a full-sized, front-loading, stacked washer and dryer. There is also an additional BEDroom, literally, off the laundry area. The bed is a full-sized, wall-to-wall from head-to-toe. There are french doors leading from the main bedroom to a small and very private fenced backyard area with a deck and luxurious hot tub. Behind the kitchen is the bathroom with a separate shower room. There is wireless Internet included. There is a smoke detector and a fire extinguisher. There are 2 off-street parking spaces available, free of charge. Once through the gate to the right of the brick path leading to the cottage, you'll find a brick patio, fire pit and wood available for your use. Just let us know when you would like to enjoy a fire and we'll have it ready to go. We've got the roasting sticks, you bring the marshmallows and hot dogs. Pelican Cottage is a small, cute, and cozy cottage built behind and attached to our garage. It is part of a residential property in a residential neighborhood. You share the driveway parking with us. Our backyard is on the other side of the fence. It is private and quiet and most times you will not even see us. However, it is our home and occasionally, you may find us working in the yard or mowing grass, or fixing the brakes on the car. We are not a commercial conglomerate. We offer Pelican Cottage as a comfortable, homey, fun alternative to the sterile and limited facilities of hotels or motel rooms.
