Chestnuts Glamping is a glamp site located in "The Patch" in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. The deluxe bell tent is located at the base of our property looking out onto two magnificent chestnut trees and onto further greenery beyond that. Our bell tent is nestled into its own corner of the block for privacy and enjoyment of the wildlife and of course the big beautiful chestnut trees. Host in main house nearby if needed. Check us out as well ** @chestnuts_glamping ** Included in your stay: Queen bed with French Linen. Tea & coffee provisions, gas camping stove. Wood fireplace for warmth and brewing a hot cuppa or soup & camp stove also available. Wine and cheese platter package available as well as a dessert package to add as an extra. Bluetooth speaker, picnic rug and an esky. Your own bathroom with hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Lots of other goodies are provided to make the stay at Chestnuts Glamping really special. *A reminder the site isnt powered however has all that you need. We actually recommend treating yourself to a night away unplugged. So bring your book and enjoy the hammock under the cool chestnut trees. ~~ ENQUIRE ~ ~ For your special stay, Private Yoga class or CHAKRA Dance therapy is available $120 for 2 people. Sandra Rosa is An amazing intuitive Yogi and Chakra dance facilitator. Guest will have all of the area under the Chestnut Trees and around tent to explore. On our acre property I live with my family and I will be available to show you around once you arrive and then leave you to enjoy the space. Access to the tent is very clear so I will always confirm if you would like me to meet you or leave you to check in yourselves. The path to the tent does involve a few steps which makes it easy, we recommend you just bring a back pack to make the walk from the car to the glamping site as easy as possible. We don't provide Ice for the esky so it is recommended you bring your own bag or we can arrange for you so it’s ready upon arrival. **TOILET** We are on a water free composting toilet, please please use a small handful of wood shavings once you have finished your toilet stop. **SHOWER INSTRUCTIONS** - Turn on gas bottle under sink - hot water unit will already be switched to on so please dont touch it. - hold shower hose and gently turn dial under the head to TURN ON this will then activate the gas unit. The shower head has different hose options so pic one you like. - please turn off gently The Patch in Mount Dandenong has some of the most beautiful gardens to walk through and trails to explore. A wonderful walk and breakfast stop from the camp site is to the Patch Store an absolute fav with the locals. The Hills are filled with special places to explore like Prosepina Bake House in Sassafras open from 7am for epic lemon tarts and home made bio dynamic milled pastries, The Kallista Tea rooms and Organic produce market. Then a short drive away you have the stunning Yarra Valley with wineries and gin distillery. Exploring is endless surrounded in beauty of the Hills and its wildlife. You can request a sparkling wine package for on arrival or a cheese grazing plate upon your return from a day exploring. Subject to an extra cost please enquire. On a Saturday morning we also have our very own organic Sourdough bakehouse called Penny Lane open from 9:30am a real treat to walk to from the site and then head back to eat your treats and brew a cuppa. Chestnuts Glamping is located in the best location for bringing your bikes and or hiking shoes you can access shops and or the trails. A car will be necessary for the longer trips or if your wanting to get something quickly from our nearby shopping area in Monbulk or Kallista (both easy to access on a bike too). We also have a local bus at the end of the street that will take you into Monbulk and around parts of the Mountain. We offer a couple of extras to make your stay fun and relaxing as possible. ~~With notice a day prior to arrival, you can arrange for Ice to be ready for your arrival in the esky for $5 ~ ~ For your special stay Private Yoga class or CHAKRA Dance therapy is available $120 for 2 people.
