Each villa offers absolute privacy and uninterrupted, breathtaking views. Villa 4 is a spacious one bedroom villa drenched in natural sunlight, with the fluid floor plan expertly designed to promote peace and relaxation. Floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors provide access to each space, allowing the natural light and breeze to flow. The elevated setting affords breathtaking views from the deck, pool and balcony. Spectacular morning sunrises over Mount Agung gives early risers something to look forward to. All fittings, fixtures and bespoke furniture is brand new within the villa. We don't have child safety fences around the pools or high balconies. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused and hope this decision is understood by our guests. Check in and check out arrangements will be communicated to you after your booking confirmation, via our lovely villa manager. We will be happy to accomodate your travel arrangements, so long as it is practicable and does not inconvenience our other guests. Our villa manager will also be on hand during your stay for anything you may require. Situated 5 minutes drive from Ubud centre, at the Northern end of the beautiful and safe Laplapan village, our villa is surrounded by lush green rice paddies. The drive from town is no more than 5 minutes by scooter and is arguably one of the prettiest drives in the area, winding down through lush jungle, past 11th century traditional bathing baths, over a river bridge crossing and finally breaking out into the green rice paddies. There is a 5 star reviewed cooking school next door, run by the famously charismatic and hilarious chef Ketut! Newly opened float garden and local warungs (the local name for small restaurants) are nearby. We can organise in-villa massages, set up next to the pool amidst the relaxing trickling sounds of the infinity edge pool and birds in the rice terraces and jungle valley below. The locals are friendly and always have time for a smile :) The best form of transport is hiring scooters, which we can help organise for you if you simply let us know prior to your arrival. For those who aren't confident on scooters, we can easily organise private SUV cars with friendly drivers who can provide daily trips to town or tours of the local sites. Fair and reasonable prices are charged for this service, supporting our local community. Although stunning and only 3km, the walk into town is not for the faint hearted, due to the steep hills. Unless you want the exercise! We provide mineral water, coffee and tea but not breakfast. Therefore, we advise organising your transport the day before so you won't go hungry in the mornings. Our recommended drivers can take you to the local supermarkets to stock up on supplies, or we can recommend many wonderful options for breakfast and coffee throughout Ubud. Some restaurants will even deliver breakfast! Ask our friendly villa manager in advance for further information on delivery. Please be mindful that we are surrounded by rice paddies and local jungle. With that abundant nature comes the sounds and presence of local fauna. Although rare, frogs, insects, ants small harmless spiders and gekkos may be encountered. We do our best to keep the spaces free from insects and the like, but we ask that you are understanding of our natural setting. If nature is not for you, we can happily recommend some 5 star hotels in town. We rely on city power which can be temperamental at times, please understand that temporary power cuts are apart of life here and something we cannot control. Take the opportunity as a positive and enjoy complete peace and quiet while it lasts! We are also located some 30+ kilometres from Mount Agung and nowhere near the 4km safety zone. We don't believe our proximity to the volcano places our guests in any danger, however, if you have any concern about your safety in relation to volcanic activity, please do not book this villa. We cannot offer any refund due to a change in Volcanic activity or natural disaster.
