Beautiful loft style apartment with parking, in the centre of historic Winchester. **Your booking can be transferred if you are unable to travel due to Government restrictions The open plan layout is very spacious and light, and the bedroom is cosy & snug, with comfortable double bed and luxury bedding. If you are staying for a few nights, there is a small bedside table and wardrobe where you can unpack your things. The sofa bed is within the lounge area which is lovely and spacious, with a large wide screen tv and speaker system. Its a stunning part of the apartment with high vaulted ceilings and light bright windows on both sides. We have installed blackout blinds to the lounge to ensure a good nights sleep. The kitchen is fully equipped with high quality appliances, tableware and utensils. On arrival we provide a few essentials, such as tea,coffee, milk ect. The bathroom is high spec and has a bath with a rain shower and an additional standard shower attachment. We provide lovely fluffy white towels for you to use during your stay. The apartment is on the first floor of a small period property. Accessed via a wide staircase. Unfortunately there is not a lift. I live locally so can be available to meet you at the apartment on arrival. We do have a key safe so guests can access the apartment independently. This allows us to be flexible on your arrival time. The apartment is located in a quiet courtyard right in the centre of town, so walking distances from the nearby shops and restaurants Winchester is an enchanting city, steeped in history and character. The Old Printworks is the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area. The train station is only 5 minutes away and the bus station around 10 minutes, from there you can make a trip to London very easily within an hour. If travelling by car it is a great base to explore many lovely places nearby, such as Long Barn Lavender Farm in the beautiful village of Alresford, or St Catherine's Hill where you can hike up to the highest point in Winchester, to take in the views of the city. Further afield you may like to explore the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth or the stunning British Coastline, both reached in less than 40 minutes by car. For the children, Marwell Zoo and Paultons Park are within easy reach.
