With a total of 8 rooms and 1400 square feet of living area, this home has 2 private rooms with Queen beds, one dorm room with 3 single beds and 1 double bed, 2 full (one shower, one bathtub) bathrooms, a full kitchen, large dining room,and spacious living room. The Master Bedroom has a Serta Memory Foam Queen size mattress and the guest bedroom has a full size/double bed. There is also a large and very comfortable couch in the living room which could make a bed for a tenth person. Guests will have access to central air conditioning and heat, a washer and dryer, high-speed fiber optic wireless internet and cable TV. Our kitchen is stocked with cooking supplies and condiments. We typically have some food available. Guests are welcome any food items in the kitchen. Also, there is a full-service grocery store less than 1/2 mile (0.8 km) away. There is also a large covered parking for one car and space for a two-3 more cars in the long driveway and on the street. There is also a record player and an interactive board/pamphlets featuring events in and around Acadiana in the living room! The neighborhood is very quiet, however, downtown Lafayette has many restaurants (Japanese sushi, French, Lebanese, Mexican, Burgers), music venues, night clubs, and bars and is only 10 blocks (approx 1 mile/1.6 km) or a 15 minute walk away. The house is located 3.4 miles (5.5 km) from the Lafayette airport and 1 mile away from the Amtrak Train Station and Greyhound Bus Station which are both Downtown.
