If you are looking for serenity and privacy in a rustic setting, this cabin is for you! This cabin is NOT pet-friendly. DVD-capability but no television. With wi-fi access. Take advantage of our walking trails that wind through hundreds of yards of Civil War earthworks! Additional bedroom available for up to 2 guests at $40/person. AMENITIES: Wood-burning fireplaces with complimentary firewood October through March. Heat and AC in all cottages. Daily maid service. Romance by Candlelight $55 Imagine returning from dinner to a cabin lit by candlelight or wood-burning fire, a delicious display of locally made artisan chocolates and silk rose petals scattered throughout. Summertime Fire Pit Rentals $40 Make the relaxing summer evenings even more pleasant with a fire pit rental: a private outdoor pit delivered to your cabin, a s’mores kit for two, 10 pieces of wood, 2 chairs, and fire-making fixings (newspaper, kindling, matches, and poker). $10 per additional guest. Private 2-Hour Guided Battlefield Tour $75 Learn from one of the area’s best historians first-hand as you enjoy a two-hour private guided tour of one of the local Civil War Battlefields. History Lover’s Package $125/couple Step back in time and experience historic Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania during your stay at Stevenson Ridge. After learning the history of some of our cottages and hiking to the Civil War trenches, enjoy a two-hour guided tour of the Spotsylvania battlefield. Spend your next day taking in some of the historic attractions in the area such as George Washington’s boyhood home Ferry Farm, Kenmore, Gari Melchers home and studio and more.
