Come to the farm for peace, quiet, nature walks, bird watching, fishing in the spring fed 3 acre pond and find a new sense of calm. Maybe all you and yours need is to build a fire then sit back and relax. Winter or summer the farm offers 10 acres of space to run around with your pups or play many of our outdoor games such as badminton, volleyball, croquet, bags, frisbee, and even a bit of golf. End your day with a relaxing hot tub overlooking the pond. Enjoy!" This cozy farmhouse has everything you need for a peaceful getaway from the chaos and buzz of everyday life! Three comfy bedrooms and two full bathrooms will give you and your family or friends space to relax your cares away. Enjoy the fresh air on our 10 acres with a 3 acre pond. The entire farmhouse and our land is yours to enjoy during your stay. There is also a homey trailer on our property that can be added on for an additional two guests. Please note that the trailer is not included with all bookings and must be added on to be allowed access. Please inquire if you are interested! Galien is a sleepy little town close to beaches, antique shops, breweries, and with excellent restaurants, wine tastings and speciality shops to explore. There are also many options for getting outside to fish, hike, bike ride, or apple picking to name few. You will also be able to have all of the peace and quiet needed. Plus you can bring your dogs! So much to do nearby or if you prefer, do nothing at all! As we are a bit secluded on our farmhouse oasis, having a car or vehicle of your own is advised for getting around! Please note that our farmhouse does not have wifi and cell phone connectivity, while it works, is not always reliable depending on where you are in the area. Our farmhouse is truly an escape from reality! While we love dogs and are happy to hosts groups with dogs we do charge an additional fee of $25 per night per dog, just like our people guests! We also like to limit our doggie guests to two maximum! Please inquire with any questions and let us know if your pup will be joining you! Although dogs are one of the closest things to our hearts, the amount of pet hair they can leave behind we don't love quite as much! We kindly ask that if you will be allowing your dog(s) on furniture that you please use the provided lint rollers and our vacuum to minimize pet hair during your stay. There is no higher priority for us than the health and safety of our guests, staff and co-hosts. During this unique time in travel Open House Hospitality is taking extra precautions to prevent the spread of the Covid 19 virus. We want you to feel confident when inhabiting one of our properties. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of everyone's health and safety. In conjunction with the director of our cleaning team we've come up with the following additional measures beyond our standard cleaning to help ensure the safety of everyone who enters our properties. All surfaces are being wiped down with disinfectant after each guest with special attention being paid to door handles, pulls, remote controls and other often touched surfaces, all linens and towels are being washed with both detergent and bleach and we are misting the entire home with Lysol disinfecting spray in between each group of guests to help mitigate any airborne pathogens. Even with all that we are doing we do ask for your help as well by encouraging all of our guests, staff and co-hosts to wash their hands thoroughly and often especially after being out and about. Rest assured, we are monitoring this situation on an ongoing basis and will continue to modify our procedures based on the best available science and information.
