River Shack Retreat

Newly remodeled, super cute 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage located in a small, quaint town right on the Mississippi River. Located only a few blocks from Lock & Dam 6 and 2 miles from Perrot State Park, this picturesque town also has bike trails, Elmaro Winery, apple orchards and more! (It is in close proximity to a train so you will hear the whistles) It has a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, central air, free WiFi and an outdoor fire pit. Only a 20 minute drive to La Crosse, WI or Winona, MN. You will love Trempealeau! It’s a beautiful area, so come ready to enjoy the outdoors. You will have access to the entire place, on-site parking for 2 vehicles, and yard space. We live right next door to the River Shack Retreat so can be available as you need or would like us to be. Trempealeau is a small town that has beautiful views of the bluffs and Mississippi river. You'll be able to eat at the historic Trempealeau Hotel or Sullivans Supper Club for dinner, and I'd recommend the River Cafe (which is only 1 block away) for breakfast. Hit up the caboose in town for Ice Cream, stop next door for a sandwich and coffee at Driftless Bike & Bean, and shop at In the Making for your all your local treasures.
