Minutes away from an 18 hole golf coarse. An hour from Nine Mile Canyon and more. The Home at the Switchyard has been described to me as very comfortable, like Grandmas house. If you like trains then you will like this house. The switch yard is still very active at times you can hear them switching the cars around. The pool and park are an enjoyable short walk as is Main street which houses many art galleries one of a kind shops restaurants a train and motorcycle museums and the swinging bridge river walk way. Helper is full of historic charm. Carbon and Emery Counties are an out doorman's dream, all good for a day trip from the house. The house is about 120 miles south east to Moab and about 120 miles north from Salt Lake. I hear the golf coarse is one of the best in the state. Important to note: gas stove in living room is very hot to the touch Scott and Janis will be your hosts, they live next door and are always very helpful. Scott loves to share history and adventure stories. As always they are there for you and your privacy is respected. Small town rich in history, fun and art. Car, bike, walk, train! Easy and quaint. Front bedroom has an adjustable bed. Bedroom lamps are charging stations. Coffee table lifts and adjusts to serve as desk or work area.
