Modern Mountain Retreat w/ panoramic views

Our house is perched on top of a mountain with uninterrupted views of the landscape beyond. Each evening beautiful sunsets light the whole house with a basking glow. The backyard and large deck are perfect for relaxing the day away and soaking up those sunsets. We also have lake rights with a private beach on lake Oscawana. Located 75 minutes from NYC and nestled in Fahnestock State Park which offers endless hiking trails. Also close by are Cold Spring, Beacon, Storm King, Fishkill Farms Enjoy views of the lush greenery and breathtaking sunsets from the main living room with 32 feet of window that spans across the whole upper floor. Or choose to melt the days away on the 1400sqft deck with plenty of room for entertaining or the backyard. A fully equipped custom kitchen is perfect for entertaining and feeding large families. High ceilings with skylight, heated floors and a large butcher block island. The living room is equipped with a gas fireplace (controlled by remote), has a 65 inch smart tv with all the apps needed for your favorite shows and premium cable. Downstairs is just a big as upstairs and acts a second living room. This room also has a 65" smart TV (no cable but all the apps) and a wood burning fireplace. Additionally the bedroom downstairs is equipped with a king bed and acts as a second master. The gym downstairs is equipped with an infrared sauna, pull up bar, recovery tools and a pilates megaformer machine. Lake Oscawana is a few minute drive from the house and is a private lake with a beach great for swimming or relaxing. We provide parking passes for beach access. The house backs up to Fahnestock State Park which offers endless hiking and nature walks including the Appalachian Trail. The famous Breakneck Ridge or Anthony's Nose hikes are just 15 min away. Restaurants, breweries and shopping are all available in nearby Garrison, Cold Spring, Peekskill and Beacon all within 15-20 minutes. You'll have access to the whole house. The garage is not included in the rental. Additionally there are a couple of closets locked and drawers where we store personal belongings. We will not be there but have someone close that will be managing the space if you need anything at all. We are 3 mins from Lake Oscawana, which is a motorized lake also great for swimming. We have lake rights and have a perfect beach to hang out at. We are 5 min from garrison and 15 mins from Coldspring, which is some of the nicest areas to see. With farm to table restaurants, some of the best hiking and Hudson River and garrison train stop only 15 min from the house. We are 15 min from the Garrison stop on metro north. Which is only an hour and 6 min from Grand Central station. You can take an Uber or taxi from train station or drive from the city as we have a ton of parking available at the house.
