No need to go to the islands or Key West! The Island Surf Cottage is a dreamy place to spend your time in Saint Augustine and Vilano Beach. The cottage is filled with every amenity that you could think of, has a great front porch to view the Saint Augustine Inlet and beach, an outdoor kitchen to try out your cooking skills, and a firepit to relax around at night. The cottage is one of the original houses built in the high elevation of sand dunes that became known as Porpoise Point - when Coastal Highway still came down Vilano Road over the old draw bridge. The original pine floors and porches harken back to the days of fishing at the Inlet and going to the beach. Access to Porpoise Point beach is just a three minute walk from the cottage. The cottage is a great place for a romantic getaway for a couple or a sweet retreat for two friends with its two bedroom and one bath setup. Each cottage bedroom has a queen bed and a shared bathroom with shower. The kitchen is fully furnished with all things that are needed to prepare delicious meals, or there are five restaurants that are within walking distance from The Island Surf Cottage. The living room has seating for four (couch and two chairs). An outdoor shower is also available for your enjoyment, and all linens and towels are provided for your stay. The Island Surf Cottage has a wide front porch with cozy chairs to watch the sunset or enjoy the quiet mornings. There is an outdoor kitchen complete with a BBQ grill, utensils, and lights. Plenty of parking is available. A fire pit has just been added with outdoor seating. A temporary membership to the Serenata Beach Club is available for a fee. Once your reservation is confirmation, the appropriate forms will be provided for this membership.
