Mountain retreat suite, two blocks from lake

Two blocks to public lake access, 20 minutes to trails and fishing, boat rentals. Original house from old Butler, pre 1900, moved for lake development. Quiet, remote, spectrum WiFi, Apple TV, 45 minutes to Boone, Johnson City or Bristol speedway. Upstairs, separate entrance well lit. You would be renting the entire upstairs of my home. This suite includes three bedrooms, and a large, full bath with kitchenette. Coffee pot, hot water kettle, microwave, convection oven. There is a fire pit near your private entrance you are welcome to use. There is also a small propane grill. Feel free to sit by the creek or use our inflatable kayak. Guests may use porch, may park by the porch to be close to the separate upstairs entrance. Inflatable kayaks are available. This is our home, so we are available easily for any assistance. However, you will not see much of us. I may not be at home, but one of my sons can help, if the need arises. We will leave to work during most evenings. My mother may be in the garden, she walks around outside during the day. 3 country diners within 20 minutes, several marinas, water sport rentals, creeper bike trail. This is a remote spot, but you can walk to a post office, hair salon or the trading post for wings, pizza, burgers. There is a public water ramp two blocks away. Also a small park for kids. My family lives downstairs if you need anything. We are working on a small campsite above the house. There is enough wood for one night of campfire. Due to the home’s age and historical value, we do not allow pets or smoking in the suite.
