Winter time is beautiful with many winter sports available including downhill skiing at Blacktail Ski Resort or Big Mountain in Whitefish. Snowmobiling, cross country, ice skating and snow shoeing. Need to work or go to school remotely? The home has high speed internet, wifi and different work spaces. 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed. It is the perfect location on the North end of Flathead Lake to explore the area. 42 miles to Glacier Park, 4 mi.-Lakeside, 1.5 mi.-Somers, 10 mi.-Kalispell, 12 mi.-Big Fork, 26 mi.-Whitefish. A number of restaurants, shops and attractions are within a short drive. And there are nine golf courses, antiquing, art galleries, and live theater in the Flathead Valley. The National Bison Range, hunting, horseback riding, biking, water slides and hiking in the Jewel Basin and hundreds of other places are also in the area. Glacier National Park is just 42 miles away. Take a day trip to one of the most spectacular places in the Rocky Mountains for hiking, sightseeing, taking pictures or whitewater rafting. Don’t forget to get some huckleberry ice cream while you are there. This 2 bedroom, one bathroom plus a den home is approximately 1600sf. On the main level is the fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, laundry room and the large master bedroom. The spacious deck is also on the main level. The master bedroom has a California King bed, twin pull out couch, TV and sliding glass door that opens onto the deck. The living room has a queen sized hide-a-bed and a work desk in it. Downstairs are two additional rooms. One of the rooms has a queen sized bed and a door to the outside. The other room has a double sized hide-a-bed couch and a twin bed. A portable crib and high chair or booster chair are available upon request. TV/DVD/Cable and loaner movies are in the living room. High speed internet and Wi-Fi are available throughout the home. There are stairs (23 steps) to get from the parking to the home. There are stairs from the home to the private beach (53 steps). This home is not for everyone as there are stairs to get to the home and stairs to get to the lake. The home has one toilet in the home. The shower in the bathroom is small. However, there is a larger area outside of the toilet and shower room that has another decent sized vanity, sink, mirror and bath tub. During the months of June, July and August I have a portable toilet on the property so that there is another toilet available. The stairs to go to the downstairs rooms are narrow. With these things said, if you choose to rent this home knowing these things, you will not be disappointed by the views, the lake front, your own private hot tub, the deck and the comfort of the property.
