The Lakeland Loft/A quiet getaway/near Bobcaygeon

The Lakeland Loft is situated on a peaceful one acre property with over 200 feet of shore line and surrounded by forest and walking trails. This property is minutes from the Bobcaygeon Lock by road or boat. The loft is located on the second story of a self contained building and has a private entrance. The Loft has been totally renovated for use by guests and has everything you will need for a comfortable stay. There is a dock for guest use. A public boat launch is about 5 minutes away. There is lots of room to relax inside or out. We have designed the space to be primarily used by one or two persons for a nice quiet getaway spot. Guests have access to the waterfront, dock and common yard areas. Since you will be the only guests on site there is lots of space. The hosts reside on the property year round and are available for contact by text, phone or email. Famous shopping opportunities exist at Bigleys and interesting dining and more in beautiful downtown Bobcaygeon. You can check out the boats and people passing through at Lock 32 and there is always the best ice cream available from the Kawartha Dairy factory store. Oh, and a great bakery as well. Downtown Bobcaygeon is about a 10 minute drive from the Loft. It is less time than that by boat. The road to the Loft is paved and well maintained in winter. In the summer we will have bicycles available for use. (free). A variety of local, great take out food is available for delivery should you so choose.
