Our House on Maple

There’s no place like Stillwater, OklaHOMEa! Our cozy, Victorian cottage, built in 1909, is full of charm and character. Step back in time while enjoying all of today’s amenities! Our House on Maple is conveniently located in Stillwater just blocks from Oklahoma State University and downtown. With three bedrooms, two baths, original antique, double mantel fireplace, covered deck and more, our little cottage comfortably sleeps nine, with a max occupancy of 10. PRIVATE MASTER SUITE Private staircase with door leads from the living area to an upstairs loft/master suite featuring antique claw foot tub, double vanity, king size platform bed with Serta iComfort mattress, plus an additional twin bed in case you need a little one nearby. Enjoy a 32 inch flat screen TV with Blu-ray/DVD and Netflix. Master Suite has private climate controlled heat and air, ceiling fan and double closet with shelves. GUEST ROOM The guest bedroom located downstairs directly off the living area features a queen size bed with Serta iComfort mattress, antique wardrobe, small antique desk/workspace and ceiling fan. BUNK ROOM The bunk room sleeps four with double bunk beds, colorful and soft foam flooring, ceiling fan and roomy closet with built in drawers and a nice selection of board games. DOWNSTAIRS BATH Enjoy a newly remodeled bathroom filled with beautiful tile work, natural sunlight, shower and tub. LIVING AREA The living area/family room features leather couch, arm chairs, 40 inch flat screen TV, Blu-ray/DVD, Netflix, ceiling fan and Nest thermostat. DINING/SITTING AREA The home’s original parlor area features a dining table with leaf and can seat up to 8. The room also features a couch, barrel chair and original Tiger Maple double mantle and cast iron, wood burning fire place. Full of natural light, great for reading, relaxing or playing board games. KITCHEN Our bright, happy kitchen is fully stocked and includes everything you need to prepare meals or snacks including side by side fridge/freezer, gas oven/stove, garbage disposal, extra-large toaster, blender, crockpots in multiple sizes, ice tea maker, waffle maker Keurig coffee maker, regular coffee maker, dishes, silverware, an assortment of utensils, bakeware and cookware. Enjoy the convenience of a walk-in pantry for ample storage. LAUNDRY Enjoy the convenience of a front load washer and dryer in the kitchen. An iron and counter top ironing board are also available. OUTDOORS Outdoor amenities include a covered front porch overlooking a water garden and large, shaded, fenced, front yard. In the back, enjoy a covered deck with party lights, table, chairs, and wildlife in a garden-like privacy fenced backyard. Back patio features a gas grill. PARKING The shared driveway has enough parking space for up to six regular size vehicles. Additional street parking is available on Maple and on the west side of Lewis. There is no parking on the east side of Maple. Parking on the east side of Maple will result in a citation. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION Perfect location, less than one mile walk to OSU or downtown and close to all Stillwater amenities. WIFI The home is equipped with WIFI. The password is conveniently posted in the home for the convenience of all our guests. SAFETY & SECURITY For added safety, a home security system, fire extinguisher in the kitchen, smoke alarms and a CO2 alarm have been installed in the home. ADDITIONAL AMENITIES All linens are included. Complimentary toilet paper, trash bags, hand soap and coffee are provided for your first night stay for your convenience. Dish soap, laundry detergent and hand soap are provided for your entire stay.
