We're also available 24/7 via text or phone and have a local team should you need anything. Guests are required to follow all regional and building-specific COVID-19 policies. We continue to employ a professional cleaning staff adhering to OSHA and CDC guidelines to make sure your stay is clean and comfortable. The Space: Our 2-bedroom apartment is furnished with a queen bed in each bedroom, a couch, and an air mattress. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay! The kitchen is stocked with cookware to cook simple meals, stainless steel appliances, and a Keurig to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee in the morning. During your stay, please keep in mind that our suites are smoke-free environments. Anything in the apartment is yours to use. Make yourself at home once you arrive. While traditional cable TV is not included in your stay, we do provide Roku TV's with apps like Netflix, Prime, Hulu, and more! Feel free to use these services with your own login and enjoy! Guest Access: You can access the building anytime after 3pm by using the lockbox to obtain the keys. We ask that you respect our home and the quiet hours of the community. Our home is not baby proofed, and may not be ideal for families with very small children, however, children are welcome at your own discretion. The Neighborhood: You couldn’t ask to be in a better location! No matter what direction you go or what your interests are, you’ll find yourself surrounded by excitement and adventure. There are endless options for delicious dining and trendy bars, along with parks and attractions. Close by is the East Village neighborhood. This part of Des Moines offers over 200 shops and services, including independently-owned boutiques and high-end restaurants. Also not far, is Downtown Des Moines, home to hot spots such as the Iowa State Capital, the Pappajohn Sculpture Park, and the Wells Fargo Arena. Getting Around: Des Moines is known to be one of the easiest and fastest places to get around! The downtown trolley offers free rides during the weekdays and passes popular attractions throughout the city. The D-Line runs a free loop every 10 minutes, taking visitors and locals from the East Village to the Western Gateway. Feel like going for a walk? Downtown offers 4 miles of climate-controlled skywalks, that can take you from restaurants, to meeting spots, to local coffee shops. The Des Moines Regional Transit (DART) provides bus services throughout the metro area. Due to the popularity of the city, Uber and Lyft are also easily accessible. Other Things to Note: Please ensure you are booking with your full legal name. There are freight trains that do run throughout the day/night. There is NO PARKING available in the parking lot of the apartment. This is permit parking only and YOU WILL BE TOWED IMMEDIATELY if parked there. There is free street parking located on SE 6th, SE 7th and also Vine Street. We have a strict 11am checkout. If you'd like to pay to check out later, the latest we can do is 1pm, at $25 per hour. Please let us know one day in advance if this is something you'd like to schedule! Interaction with Guests: Most of our guests prefer to let themselves in with our lockbox entry system; however, we can be available upon request and are always available via phone call or text message should any questions or issues arise.
