The home sits approximately 45' above Chase Creek on a spectacular piece of land surrounded by acres of open space, but just minutes from downtown Annapolis and major routes. Multiple levels of decks and patios lead down to a waterside dock with a picnic table, ready for a crab feast! The protected deep water pier (8 – 10' MLW) has a 50' slip and immediate access to the Severn River. Whether you relax in the living room while taking in the views, explore the river, or enjoy the nearby hike and bike trails, this home will suit your vacation needs. BEDROOMS 3 private bedrooms each with private full bath; sleeps 2 per bedroom. The Primary Bedroom and Guestroom 1 are both on the main level. The large primary bedroom has a sliding door to the deck. Guestroom 3 is an extra large room on the lower level with water views. Lovely linens and bath towels provided. The lower level Family Room offers 2 extra wide chairs that convert into comfy sleepers. KITCHEN & DINING The kitchen is newly updated, keeping with the mid-century modern flair. Featuring new appliances and a breakfast bar that seats 4. All the amenities you need in cookware and dishes. Skylights let the sunshine stream in. The dining area table seats 6-8 with water views. A large table on the upper deck and gas grill are perfect for outdoor waterfront dining. LIVING SPACES The large glass South and Southeast facing windows and sliding doors offer water views and airy breezes in the living area on the main level. A comfortable L shaped sofa faces the floor to ceiling windows. The vaulted wood ceiling and hardwood floors adding warmth and texture.On the lower level a family room with a cable TV and extra wide chairs for lounging and movie nights. ENTERTAINMENT Music provided by... Xfinity cable TV and, of course, FREE WiFi. But the best entertainment is outside the walls...Chesapeake wildlife, waterside adventures, bike the B&A trail. OUTDOORS The grounds abound with native foliage and luscious landscaping. Walk from the upper deck, to the mid-deck and hammock patio, to the observation deck and extra large private dock. Bring your boat, kayaks, paddle boards and fishing rods! PARKING Parking for up to 3 cars in our parking area. Parking is dear in these waterfront neighborhoods. Note that this is not a home for event entertaining due to parking limitations. PRIVATE PIER A private pier is available for your boat--large or small. Water depth - 10'. Maximum LOA allowed - 50'. Electric and Water hook-up available. NEIGHBORHOOD Briarcliff on the Severn is a tiny enclave of just 17 homes. The neighbors are apt to greet you and make you feel right at home. It is a place where you feel away from it all -- and yet, all is in reach. ANNAPOLIS and ENVIRONS Explore Historic Annapolis, 5 minutes drive away. Or visit some of the popular local restaurants: The Pointe, The Severn Inn, Chandlers (famous for their crabs) and more. If you visit in Aug/Sept/Oct, don't miss one of the best Renaissance festivals around. And, rest assured, the home is a perfect base for Naval Academy Football games, Alumni Reunions, Commissioning week, and so forth.... Please note, due to limited parking events such as weddings or large parties/dinners cannot be accommodated. PETS Doggos are considered on a case by case situation with an additional $250 Pet Fee. Please inquire prior to booking. Each home has specific requirements for pets, such as: Crating while you are not present in the home, no peeing on the grass, no sleeping in the beds or up on the furnishings. We love kitties, but cannot accept feline pets. Cats have very different dander and our homeowners or future Guests may be highly allergic. Just as some people require a service/assistance animal for medical or mental purposes, some people have debilitating medical reactions to animal dander or hair. We have to be conscientious of both. Please do not represent your pet as a Service Dog or Assistance Animal if it is not. It is offensive to animals and owners that earned it through months or years of hard work and training. We will do our best to find a property that works for you and for your working animal. Please know that we have the utmost respect for the training and hard work this animal has been through.
