Welcome to Butterfly Cottage! Arrive at Butterfly Cottage and escape from your everyday life! Relax with family or friends at our well-equipped, air-conditioned nature-inspired oasis in the historical old town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Butterfly Cottage was designed by a well-respected local architect (Victor Tarnoy) and offers a spacious and luxurious open floor plan , with cathedral ceilings, great room and a wrap-around deck for outdoor living - all within a short stroll of the lake, oldest golf course in North America and historic downtown shopping, dining, theatre and culture. Parking is for 2 cars.1 small adult dog allowed (large dogs and puppies not allowed, no exceptions). If you are unsure whether you will be able to travel, we ask that you wait until restrictions are lifted and you are sure that you will be able to travel on your chosen dates.*** The main floor of Butterfly Cottage you will find the fully equipped kitchen with butcher block counter tops, stainless steel appliances, microwave, flat top stove, dishwasher, drip-coffee maker, toaster, dishes, pots and pans, silverware and glasses (including wine glasses). The kitchen is pre-stocked with salt and pepper, sugar packets, non-stick spray, paper towels, dish soap, tea towels, dish cloths and enough coffee and tea to get you started. Everything you need to set the table for a meal with family and friends. The dining area has an extra-large farmer table with seating up to 8 house guests! There is a bedroom on the main floor with queen bed. Large living room with television, electric fireplace and piano! Plenty of windows for you to relax and watch the butterfly’s and enjoy the natural sunlight! There is bathroom with tub and shower combination! The main floor laundry is located next to the kitchen at the entry to the house and is supplied with laundry soap, stain remover and dryer sheets. Walking up to the 2nd level of Butterfly Cottage on wooden stairs are 3 additional bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds and the 3rd bedroom has a set of twin beds. The bathroom showcases a claw foot tub and shower combo. Bedding, towels, hair dryers, facial and toilet tissue, shampoo and hand soap are provided. Imagine yourself on a sunny day sitting in a rocking chair on the porch sipping Niagara-on-the-lake's award winning wine, eating fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables and enjoying a BBQ/grill with family and friends. Butterfly Cottage offers accommodation that invites you to come back again and again! Many of our bookings are return guests! The butterfly-friendly gardens provide a tranquil backdrop for family get-togethers and beyond the trickling sounds of the pond are blackberry bushes laden with fruit for our guests to enjoy in late summer! Need a reason to visit us in the winter? Butterfly Cottage provides the perfect location for cross-country skiing at the nearby commons or go downhill skiing at Kissing Bridge and Holiday Valley, a short drive away. At the end of the day curl up with a good book and a glass of local world-famous wine in front of the fireplace, with the snow gently falling outside. Touring Niagara can be done by biking, walking the trails, or by taking a tranquil scenic drive. Some of the best restaurants are in Niagara-on-the Lake and we can prove it because we are the culinary capital of Canada! There are lots of things to do and see so make sure you plan to come back again and again to explore the Prettiest Little Town in Canada! Butterfly Cottage is a licenced short term rental in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Lic #042-2020 Enhanced Cleaning and Safety Protocols during COVID-19 We have always held a high standard for our homes and the housekeeping staff and we want you to know what we are doing to keep our guests safe. ·Removal of extra blankets, pillows, and non-essential soft surface items (extra blankets will be wrapped in plastic in the closets in case of need) Guests are encouraged to bring their own pillow(s) and blankets (if they get easily chilled at night) ·Hand sanitizer pump at each property (70% alcohol) ·Disinfecting of soft surfaces with an alcohol based disinfectant ·Additional attention to disinfecting frequently touched surfaces like the keyless entry lock, remote controls, thermostat, knobs and pulls, laminated house instruction cards ("blue welcome card"), light switches, hangers, soap bottles, etc. ·Washing of all blankets after each reservation ·Disinfecting of the mattress, mattress cover, pillows and pillow protectors with alcohol based disinfectant ·Cleaning checklist signed off by the housekeeper after each clean Meet your local hosts: Jason and Elsie Mae at Niagara Holiday Rentals Niagara-on-the-lake was voted one of Canada’s prettiest little towns and is located just a short drive from Niagara Falls, along the scenic Niagara River Parkway. All of the Niagara Holiday Rentals properties are licenced and insured as vacation rentals in the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Niagara Holiday Rentals is registered with the Travel Industry Council of Ontario and complies with the Ontario Travel Regulations. Fine Print: - The person who booked and paid is the primary guest and is responsible for the actions of other house guests. The primary guest must be staying for every night of the booking. - For insurance purposes the primary guest must be 25 years or older. - No more than 8 people including all children. Names of every house guest (including children) must be provided. This information is required to comply with the town by-laws. - No overnight street parking is allowed in the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. - No smoking or vaping of tobacco, marijuana or any similar product whose use generates smoke or vapors within the house.
