With a secluded beach right out front and stretches of the same to the north and south, a 200 yard walk south between the surf and dunes - along one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the OBX - will take you to the original Cape Hatteras lighthouse location. Four generous bedrooms and laundry and nursery/reading room make up the first level - including a six-person hot tub on the oceanfront lower deck. Guests will love the full top floor main level featuring high cathedral ceilings with incredible views. Open kitchen, breakfast bar, dining area and half bath accommodate large families comfortably. The sunny loft offers quiet solitude and stellar views overlooking the main floor, the ocean, the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, and the charming Buxton beach community. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The $20 nightly fee will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: Please park in the driveway. Guests may part a total of four vehicles. Parking on the lawn is not allowed, as this may cause damage to the home's septic system. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
