The Bluebird Cottage ~*Hot Tub*~*Firepit*~*Falls*

1930's cottage in the beautiful Arbuckle Mountains of Davis, Ok. Just 1 mile from Turner Falls Park, and minutes away from the Arbuckle Lake, Chickasaw National Park, Chickasaw Cultural Center, restaurants, and local casinos. Sleeps up to 6 with 2 QUEEN beds and a sofa sleeper. Includes fully equipped kitchen with complimentary coffee, tea, filters, and creamer. There is a newly installed hot tub, grill, fire pit, and outdoor table and chairs with an umbrella. A wonderful setting to relax and enjoy nature but close enough to what makes the area popular! THE SPACE: You’re going to love your time at the cottage! The Cottage has 2 Queen beds and a Sofa Sleeper (sleeps our maximum of 6); kitchen with refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, small coffee pot, Keurig, dishes, eating utensils, and pots and pans. We provide several filter packets of coffee, a variety of pods for the Keurig, and few spices and oil for your convenience. Our Wi-Fi is a hot spot. We cannot get regular high speed unlimited internet in our location. Wi-Fi may be spotty or non existent at times, we have no control over that. We will not discount or refund due to no or slow internet. We do not have a washer and dryer for guest use, but there is a laundromat less than 5 miles from us. The Bluebird Cottage is built on the side of the mountain. You will have wildlife visit! We've seen turkeys, deer, a red fox, squirrels, and a multitude of wild birds. But we must tell you there are also some "not so friendly" critters that might visit. There are snakes, tarantulas, spiders, wasps, and other not so fun bugs and critters that could make a visit. The Cottage is in the wild life area so please keep all doors closed so none of the ones you DON'T want to share space with get in. Sometimes no matter what we do or our guests do, bugs will get in. If that happens please let us know. We have a regular pest service that comes monthly. We do have an outdoor insect misting system that will help keep some outside insects to a minimum, such as those pesky mosquitoes. We want you to enjoy our back yard with the umbrella over the picnic table, enjoy relaxing in the hot tub or in front of the fire pit, or cook your favorite steak or burger on the grill. Enjoy looking at our small collection of fossils and rocks on display around the yard that my grandmother had collected for years (she was 95 in 2017 when she passed and she found her first rock at the age of 4). You can enjoy your favorite beverage on the balcony overlooking the front yard or enjoy the backyard with the space and trees that make it a relaxing place. Beautiful Turner Falls Park is just ONE mile from the Cottage. It's a beautiful and fun place to visit. The beautiful Chickasaw Park is only about 10 miles away. We have really great restaurants all within less than a mile to 5 miles from the Cottage. Please read our rules before booking. We want your stay to be pleasant, relaxing, and FUN! GUEST ACCESS: You will have access to the full house with the exception of our "Staff Only" locked room and the locked basement that are used for storage. Enjoy your time grilling in the backyard, roasting marshmallows in the fire pit area, relaxing in the NEW hot tub, or sipping your favorite drink on the front deck! If you’re lucky, you may spy a deer or fox or two! OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: It will be easier to enter through the back door instead of carrying luggage up the front steps. There is a self check in coded lock for your convenience on both doors. We also have 3 security cameras actively recording on the property for our guests' and property safety. One is located on the front porch facing the stairs down to the driveway. One is on the back porch facing our locked "Staff Only" door and back porch entrance. One is under the front porch facing AWAY from the stairs towards our Outdoor Insect Misting System. Any tampering with the security system could cause you to be evicted immediately with no refund per my policies. We have an outdoor insect misting system by Bugs R Gone that does a 20 second spray outside the house and along the fence at 6 am. and 10 pm during spring to late September. It helps keep mosquitoes and other insects to a minimum for our guests' outdoor comfort. If you prefer to not have it mist the outdoor areas please let us know and we'll be happy to disable it. Do NOT tamper with the nozzles on the fences or the porch areas. Do NOT tamper with the barrel and timers.
