Stoke up the pellet stove and watch a movie or retire for the evening on a bed of comfortable linens. This property sits in the foothills of the beautiful Rocky Mountains. It's just a quick drive or bike ride to downtown Fort Collins or CSU. Don't miss the many local breweries, including the famous New Belgium Brewery and O'Dell's Brewery. It is also less than 1 mile from Horsetooth Reservoir. Enjoy boating, paddle-boarding, jet-skiing and kayaking at Horsetooth. For mountain bikers, world class trails in Lory State Park are minutes away. If you enjoy hiking, trails are just above the property and in nearby Lory State Park. You can also bring your horses and take them just 3 miles up the road to experience beautiful trails and scenery in Lory State Park. Lory also boasts an Equestrian Cross Country course. Within an hour, you can be in Estes and Rocky Mountain National Park. The nearest ski area is an hour and a half away. This property is perfect for a summer or winter getaway that is not too far from town! The pavilion and outdoor kitchen, located next to the cabin, are for available for an additional rental fee. We do not host weddings but we do rent the space for smaller gatherings such as wedding rehearsal dinners, retirement parties, corporate meetings, graduations and birthday parties.
