This is an authentic Christina Lake cabin renovated with attention to detail and many original and antique features. New environmentally sound amenities include a new energy star fridge, on demand hot water, and top of the line Swedish composting toilet. The cabin is nestled in the trees within a few steps from your personal section of sandy beach area on our 320 feet of private beach. This quaint cabin has been lovingly updated with an artistic emphasis on handmade and environmentally friendly non-toxic products. A large attached deck has an outdoor kitchen area with stainless 3 bay sink and Weber grill. There is a covered seating area with a panoramic view of the lake, mountains and on-site gardens. We are located off a quiet road on the West side of the Lake, but less than 10 minutes from restaurants, galleries, and shops. The south facing beach is on Canada's warmest tree lined lake, and one of the best spots for a summer family vacation. Our cabin with its two separate bedrooms is perfect for two couples or a small family and can be rented for a discount in addition to our Lakefront Cottage for larger groups (see our separate listing for Cedar Point Lakefront Cedar Cottage). We share some of our organic vegetables with our guests, and encourage a low impact vacation with water usage (50% of Lakers draw their water directly from the Lake). We have a creek running through the property, which supplies fresh water (after filtering and UV treatment) and a cool breeze at night for sleeping comfortably. There is parking for one vehicle, and access to trails right behind the cabin. We can rent you a SUP or kayaks for the week if you desire, and connect you with WildWays (our former business) for bike rentals and shuttles on the famous Kettle Valley Railgrade (part of the Trans Canada Trail). Lots of amenities close by, including tennis and pickle ball courts, exercise park, bike park, 18 hole championship golf (with black sand traps), a Par 3 course (both with good restaurants) and lots of trails for hiking and biking for all levels. Christina Lake was listed by Sunset Magazine as one of the top ten Lakes in the West for a private getaway, and we think you will love the warm water and friendly community we live in. We live on the property and are available for help should you need it, but offer lots of privacy. Come and join us in this summer paradise we have called home for so many years. We rent from Saturday to Saturday, minimum 7 nights.
